It’s perfect and does exactly as we needed. It’s non-stick, feels really durable and solid, and it’s really easy to clean. It’s pricier but it feels like it’s going to last a long time and doesn’t make our food taste funny. I’m hoping to get more Caraway kitchenware.

I recently "discovered" Caraway pots and pans and I just love them! So darned easy to clean, and they cook well, much like cast iron without all the cast iron care. They are enamel coated with an aluminum core and the heat is well-distributed. They are non-stick without the toxicity of other non-stick coatings. These should not go in the dishwasher but they practically just wipe clean so there really isn't any need to put them in a dishwasher. I started out with a couple of Caraway frying pans to test them over a bit of time and loved them so much I gathered up a whole set of Caraway pots and pans. Here it is many months later and I still love them. Despite daily use they look and cook like new. I expect they will last forever. This particular pot that I'm reviewing is the perfect size for anything needing a larger pot.

This Dutch oven is awesome, I love the way it cooks according to temperature and ease of handling it. I have arthritic hands and have great difficulty handling big pots. This works for me and even though it does not look like a 6 1/2 quart pot, because of its design, but it is. I highly recommend it and I know it will last me for the next 20 years as my previous pot which was a Calphalon.

Great pot looks good as well as being top quality

I must say that I have been purchasing Caraway pots and pans for the last couple of years. This was my most recent purchase which was in July. I don't have too many occasions to use this as a dutch oven but, I use it as a soup pot and pasta cooker. I haven't used it to bake bread yet either, it hasn't been cool enough to bake bread until recently. That said I do like these pans. They do heat up rather quickly. There is no need, and it's recommended that medium heat is the highest setting for heat. What I don't like is that the lids have a hole in the top to allow steam to escape. If using it as a dutch oven you will need to keep an eye on the liquid in the pot. Also, the lids have only a small rim and any accumulated moisture will pour onto your stove top if you are not careful. These are very good pots, reasonably light, (compared to my Le Cruset pots), and relatively non-stick. The only thing that i have seen stick was some sticky rice that I was heating in a smaller pan. The ceramic coating is very good, and has lasted a couple of years. In fact I believe that Consumer Reports rated this their top ceramic interior coated pans. The outside enamel is a little prone to staining. But The handles will get hot after a while so use caution, and a pot holder. I also bought the steamer insert. It works as expected. I would give the Caraway pots and pans a 4.5 * rating.

It’s really nice , nonstick you don’t need to add oil . Just make sure to use wooden spoons (on all nonstick) to ensure they don’t scratch and become unsafe. The lid handles get hot but not too hot so you can touch but the lid itself gets hot so be careful . Cooking rice like basmati can be a challenge cos the lid keeps bringing in water however, I just add another stainless lid and everything is fine . Overall very happy with it . Would purchase again

Love this non stick pan however 6 weeks after buying it I’ve noticed a crack in the metal handle where the bolt attaches the handle to the pan. We have only hand washed it and have not banged or dropped it, so was shocked to find this fault.. At this price I expected much better quality and was hoping that this would last us for years. Not sure it will now.
