Soldering to an LED strip isn’t fun. These clips are worth their cost in time saved.
I bought some LED strip lights for under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. I did a test install first before drilling holes and securing everything permanently. I didn’t believe the reviews about soldering to the strips being a pain. Should have listened. Yes, soldering definitely works if you have a decent station, some experience and a lot of patience. Not fun though. After my test run I immediately ordered these clips. They work great and are absolutely worth the few extra dollars.

Very easy to use.
I used the connectors to extend the LED light strip under the upper kitchen cabinets on two sides of our kitchen. I used two connectors to skip over the range on one side and two more to transition from the cabinets on one wall, over a door and past the refrigerator to the cabinets on the other wall The connectors were quick and easy to use and made good secure connections.

I am a led-light convert!
The problem with strip led lights is that they don't go around corners nicely, not do they bend back upon themselves nicely. These little pig tails solve the problem! They can either be soldered, or you can use twist on connectors to connect pieces of strip lighting together and run them as you wish, without kinking the strip.

These connectors worked great! They snap shut and lock - did not have any issues with getting a good connection with the strips. Note: If you purchase the 8mm waterproof strips, you will need to cut and peel off the silicone coating above the connector pads. This proved to be pretty simple... I used a single edged razor blade...take your time and be careful not to cut down thru the strip.

A lot easier than soldering
I used it for my son's costume this year. It was a lot better and easier than utilizing a soldering iron. Very straight-forward and easy to use. If I could improve the design, it would be a way to vice clamp through the rubber coating on LED strips. That way I don't have to use a knife removing the rubber protection over the terminals.

A bit tedious, but it works if you are very careful
The parts are of uniform quality. The mfr covers the "quick" instructions on the Amazon product page, but that's it. It would have been nice to get detailed instructions in the package, actually. For example, they tell you to open the tabs on the connector to use it, but they don't explain how. You need to pry the little LATCH open with a small tool, and of course you have to find the latch first.Next: You MUST have a perfectly flat, clean, undamaged end on your LED strip, and you MUST push it into this connector very carefully.AND: The polarity (plus and minus) are designed to go only one way onto the correct end of the LED strip. If you need to connect to the other end, your polarity (red and black wires) will be backwards. The two pins inside this connector cannot be moved and switched with each other. Instead, you will need to swap the red and black wires externally. Too bad the mfr. does not make this reversible for situations like mine.

Easy to install.
This LED strip connector with the pigtail worked out great. I installed them at the ends of all the shelves then connected the LEDs at the end of each shelf. FYI, you can only use up to 300 LEDs on one power pack. Anything more then that and you will have to buy another power pack. 12 volts/ 2 Amps is MAX.

Work great
The media could not be loaded. Built a DIY exposure unit, worked great.
