Exceptional value, built really well and works perfectly.
I bought this because I want to take my Spark “GO” to gigs and try it out in lieu of a Boss ME-90, which is nice but a little large, and really does a lot more than usually needed. The AIRSTEP SPK is exactly what I need - the GO has four onboard preset slots, which are more than enough to do our semi-acoustic gigs, and sounds excellent going direct. I use mode “3” which allows me to toggle the drive, modulation, delay and reverb effects, with tap tempo on the delay button, and on/off delay with a long press. Paging thru presets is one-way (up) but since there are only four and I seldom change presets during a song this compromise is ok for me. Other modes allow paging down but I prefer to have the extra effect toggle. Build quality is exceptional for this price point. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, but still a much smaller footprint than my ME-90. The battery life is unusually long compared to similar devices, literature says 300 hours! I have not pushed it that far before recharging, it would take a lot of three-hour gigs to run it all the way down. Pairing is simple and instant with my GO, unlike some other things I’ve used. So far this is everything I’d hoped for.

Wow!
I was Hesitant to buy this one over the positive grid one, especially since both are offering discounts. I pulled the trigger on the XSONIC in the end. I read lots of reviews and looked at the goods and bads, but the extra button and heavier construction make me feel like it will last. There are firmware updates that seem to have improved the pedal. There's even a beta that turns it into the other, but I like the extra switch. First, I updated to the latest firmware before connecting it to my MINI. The app seemed a little sketchy, but it is very simple and easy as heck to use. Hold down the D... or the 4th switch to be exact and turn it on. The light will turn on and it's ready to update. Real quick... Have the app open and ready to choose the 3 options because it only stays in update mode for a short time. I screwed around and it came out of the mode and the update failed. So, I turned it off... held the button down... turned it on.. started the update. Boom it was quick. I turned my amp on and everything connected automatically. Instantly I can switch between my 4 presets and turn on or off 3 setting like delay etc. Some people complained about switching delay, but I have noticed zero. Maybe the firmware fixed that. It's also nice to be able to use it without the app. If you want it to work like the PG one try the beta update. Website says you can always turn it back. I'm glad I got it. It makes my practice jamming way better and I am happy that they are continually supporting it. Last if you have other bluetooth amps maybe try the lite or the other step ups. They are on sale. They still work with the spark, but this one only works with the spark. Hope that helps

Control
Works great for the spark 40, it should come with directions I'm using as a foot switch solely so I was cool with the no directions there's an online site for that best of luck I'm good with it as a foot switch

Way better than the Positive Grid pedal
I bought the Positive Grid pedal first. It works fine, but only works while using the Spark app. I didn't like having my phone tied up at a gig to be able to use the pedal. This pedal works without the Spark app. Heavy duty construction, long battery life. More sound effect options. However, the pedal won't work if you connect to the Spark app. I don't want to use the app anyway when playing a gig. Conclusion... this is a really nice and inexpensive pedal. I highly recommend!

NO LOOPER FOR SPARK MINI
This thing seemed pretty cool, and I wanted to use it to finally have a looper for my spark mini. It apparently works with the 40 and go, but when it comes to the mini, you can’t use a looper. I’ve wasted hours trying to make this work, and don’t even know where to go from here. I wasted 5$ on an app that only loops via the phone microphone ☠️, no option to change channels or inputs, and you cannot correctly use the spark app with the airstrip even though they said it was fixed…. (It connects, just the app becomes a brick along with the airstrip 🤡). If you are just using this to have a controller foot pedal, it works perfect and setup was literally non existent. That being said, i only bought this to loop and am disappointed they didn’t clearly mention that the mini is not supported yet.

Way better than Positive Grid Spark Control!
I wanted to get a working footswitch for my Spark 40 amp. I mostly practice using the Moises app on my iPad and steam the audio using Bluetooth to my Spark 40 with the guitar parts removed so I can jam along. I had the original Spark Control and it was total garbage, not only would it keep dropping the conenction, but sometimes it would not conenct at all, and when it did connect there were continuous audio dropouts that interfered with the bluetooth music straming from the Moises app. It also had a noticable switching delay. So I ended up selling the Spark Control on eBay for a loss. I started looking at the newer Spark Control X as a replacement and almost bought it but then thought - wait - what if the Spark Control X had the same issues as the original Spark Control? So I ended up ordering the Airstep instead. So glad I made this choice. Its a better made product for sure, a bit heavier and appears to be more durable and less expensive too. The best thing is I just power it on and then power on my Spark 40 and it connects automatically right away without having to mess with the Spark App or anything - it just works. And the best part NO AUDIO DROPOUTS and NO SWITCHING DELAY. I highly recommend the Airstep for anyone wanting a footswitch to control their Spark 40.

Great product for the money.
I have a Spark Live and a Spark Mini, I use this switch pedal on both to easily change presets between songs or even mid song. It pairs up perfectly and the charge lasts for hours of use. I had Spark Control X, but found for the price it was not a good fit for me. So I returned it and got the AirStep for 60 dollars less. I'm very pleased and recommend it highly.
