Great Countertop Size & Appearance
I have had this countertop compost bin for over a year now. It has delivered on all aspects important to me: size, appearance, low odor, quality, ease of cleaning. I like the handle and quality stainless steel design. I easily clean the bin and filters in my dishwasher. Highly recommended for new and experienced composters!

Love this thing
Keeps the smell in, bugs out and has held up GREAT! We’ve had this guys for a long time & I’m rough with it. Also easy to get new filters for which is obviously a huge plus.

Great material and easy to clean
Really like this Black and Decker Compost bin. My old one was not made of stainless steel, so the inside was rusted and gross looking. This one is easy to clean and looks great.

Easy to clean and use!
Very nice compost bin. However wish it were a bit shorter for on countertop.

Nice looking and keeps smells inside
I’ve used this for a few rounds of kitchen scraps until I could take them to the compost bin. So far so good. The charcoal filters and lid do help keep the smells inside. I’ve used a paper towel for a liner, but I don’t think this is necessary. It looks nice and you can turn it so the black and decker logo doesn’t show. My only regret is that when I was placing scraps in a small plastic container I tended to empty them so they wouldn’t sit out, whereas this bin is so nice looking I forgot about some strawberry tops I had out inside for a few days and they got moldy. Thankfully I can put it in the dishwasher. I am glad it came with a replacement filter, but I need to find a way to get odor out of the filter as some strong basil and mint left the filter slightly herby smelling (but the odors stopped there thankfully. Overall I’m happy with it and if you want a nice looking kitchen counter compost bin to throw scraps in so you don’t have to go outside all the time I say get it.

Great purchase
This has been so convenient and great to keep on my counter for quick access. No smell at all because of the filter in the lid. I empty it daily to every other day.

Good capacity and smell containment
Exchanged 1st one due to slight defect. Second unit is working well with nice capacity and impressive smell containment with the charcoal filter. Would recommend.
