I believed it the minute I looked at the pot. It was gonna be great coffee and that’s what I’m using it for the elegant look just makes a sweet change in my place. The smell of the coffee in the morning and it’s the safest way no plastic involved to melt and go into your system. All stainless steel and not a bad price. I was looking for a relatively undestructable teapot that was about a quart and a half. This one seemed to fit the bill. Using it for the first time, I wasn't disappointed, except for one missing element. The tea strainer, which is very nicely done with very fine micro-perfs, has no handle. This means that you can not remove your steeped leaves easily. This is somewhat mitigated in that if you pour about half the pot, the strainer will be out of the remaining tea and will not further steep. Still not ideal for me. I will be getting some stainless wire and a very tiny drill bit and make my own handle. I have fairly large hands and couldn't quite put my hand in the pot for cleaning (without there being a question of whether I could get my hand back out). Not a deal killer for me. The description mentions that the top finial is not metal. This was pretty well done in that you have to look very hard to convince yourself it's not the same stainless as the rest of the pot. Don't know how it will age, but when new, the plastic piece looks like it belongs. And finally, this is a tea pot and not a tea kettle. Tea pots don't whistle but some kettles do.

great little pot, works well boil water , tes , coffee.. good size, nice slow pour for pour over coffee too... cleans ok there will be water left when you turn it over to dry out, the rim holds water, like it very much.

I use this teapot everyday. It doesn’t spill if tipped too much.

I have had a glass/stainless steel teapot for over ten years but alas it started to leak. So looked to replace it with similar, however, my husband suggested just stainless steel but I wanted a filter too. he suggested this one and I took one look and thought no that's not my old teapot. I looked at more but came back to this one even though I thought the handle strange. So when it arrived I boiled some water in to cleanse it then made my usual brew. The long filter which reaches to the bottom is very clever as it makes sure your leaves are always were the water is even if only partly filling the pot. The handle although I wasn't sure is easy to hold and doesn't get hot even when left under a cosy for an hour! Well done again clever as the handle does fix at the base of the teapot where it's hottest. Finally the spout long thin and elegant by far the best pouring teapot I've had in my life I'm in my 70s. :) I would really recommend this teapot.
