Ecdysterone

As of this review, I have used Earth Elixir's Beta Ecdysterone for about two months. I started out taking the lower dose (1-2 capsules per day) and have transitioned to the higher dose (3-4 capsules per day). During my workouts, I have seen increases in stamina, muscle pumps, strength, and power output. There have been no negative side effects to speak of, and while I have not had any blood work done, I believe my testosterone levels have also increased since taking this supplement. I had been plateauing on most of my major upper body lifts lately, and this supplement has helped me overcome that problem, adding pounds to my bench press, shoulder press, barbell row, etc. This is an excellent choice for the experienced lifter who has optimized their workouts and lifestyle but still need that little extra push.

Min risk min reward, but noticed the rewards more than others like cistanche and ashwaganda. I also stack it with 10-15 g of creatine and roughly 80-100 grams of protein a day and 15k ui of vit d daily

I have observed numerous benefits from the supplement, far exceeding my initial expectations. A friend recommended it to me a while ago and I thought I would give it a go. I can confidently affirm that it lives up to the hype he was telling me about. Over the course of 10 weeks, I have experienced incredible pumps and noticeable improvements in my strength. I have been Progressively overloading like crazy no ego hypertrophy. Needless to say, I am thoroughly enjoying the results it has provided me.

I've had a little experience with Ecdysteroid products in the past, they are certainly worth trying if you're looking for a little extra in the gym and not wanting to go the TRT/Sarms/gear or peptide route. It's not gonna turn you into the hulk that's for sure, but it will add to your strength and muscle gains a bit if you're a person who reacts well to these products. Would try again in the future for sure.

After reading that ecdysterone had been banned for some athletes based on recent efficacy research, I took a look at the relevant study and learned that it's a naturally occurring hormone in plants and insects that seems to support muscle hypertrophy, strength increases, and better protein synthesis among athletes, with no measured side effects (per the same research as well as other studies). I decided to give it a try about two months into working out regularly after returning to the gym (approx 3-5x/week) post pandemic. Within 1-2 weeks, I did notice sudden strength increases on squat and benchpress--and also experienced less fatigue and faster recovery post-workout. I've added it to my daily supplements and can report zero side effects in my case. While I have also gained some size (approx 5-8 lbs in 6 mos), it's hard to know whether it's the supplement that's bringing it or the workout and diet alone. Also, my strength (as measured by incremental lift increases) has plateaued somewhat after fairly quick gains early in my return to gym--just what I would've expected. Given the frequency and intensity of my workouts, I have no doubt that results from actual anabolics would have led to greater increases in size and strength (though I've never tried these due to legal and health considerations). Given no side effects, I'll take ecdy's apparent help with recovery and protein synthesis. In my opinion and experience, this supplement has been worth the try and I'll continue using it.

A $13.00 price increase since June!! Seriously?! You used to have a great product at a great price. Now, it's just another overpriced product that doesn't stand out. Way to go. Smfh.
