WOW! This is a fantastic lens cap! Easy to put on, and it STAYS on! I ordered several lens caps -- hoping that one would be perfect, and this one is! It's better than the Leica lens cap that I also purchase (that one comes off too easily). I am delighted with this product!

Wow, I just bought this as a replacement for a misplaced cap, but this product is special! I expect most caps to pop off with a little bump, but this little guy really stays on. Totally worth the few extra bucks if you are looking for a replacement cap, or are sick of using caps that fall off!

Good lens cap. works with winter gloves

I have a tiny TTartisans pancake lens that's only 39mm. And the cap was always falling off. This one has much better spring action and is far better than what the lens company supplied.

Replaces the Fuji X-20 o.e.m. push-on lens cap that's aesthetically pleasing but impractical in the field. This pinch cap is sturdy, light, and secure, and with a lens cap tether attached, it's unobtrusive in the field.

For me, the most important feature for a lens cap is reliability, which is to say that the cap stays put until I remove it not before then. When Breakthrough Photography promises "extra strong springs" they are not kidding, and more important this is the part that holds the cap in place--until I remove it. The center-pinch indentations are not deep enough for me to use and I squeeze the edges to release the springs. Using the indentations is secondary for me. Because of the springs the lens cap holds just fine which is why this gets my 5-star rating.

I was looking for a lens cap for a Leica M 40mm lens and if I tried to find an original but those are mostly going for around $50. My camera is not a museum piece so I wanted something that would allow me to protect my lens and let me take it out to use. So this cap worked perfectly for me.

First annoyed I had to replace the Fujifilm lens cap--turns out this one is superior. The original Fujifilm lens cap--at least mine--was fiddly to pinch onto the camera and came off at the lightest touch. This replacement is more secure on the lens and feels more durable. As much as I love Fujifilm's gear, Breakthrough Photography totally one-upped them here. As a bonus the little flame logo gives it a custom look and they threw in a polish cloth.
