Puracy Organic Hand Soap Refill

TLDR: Great soap, Non drying, soft scent, and definitely recommend. I have VERY sensitive skin and I am very sensitive to smells. I also have actual Obsessive Compulsive Disorder so I wash my hand A LOT. Like probably 30+ times a day. I have tried so many soaps that claim to be moisturizing and they always dry my hands out so bad that they crack and bleed even with using a clinical moisturizer. I even made my own hand soap at one point with castille soap. This soap blows those others out of the water! Even in the winter my hands weren't cracking. Granted you still need to moisturize your hands like you would any other part of your body but that isn't any kind of complaint. I also couldn't be happier with the scent. I'm a huge fan of anything lavender but I don't normally like vanilla scented stuff. They're always extremely fake smelling and overpowering but that isn't the case with this soap at all. It is such a lovely light scent that I wish I could get in a perfume lol. I'm someone that cant even burn candles or wear any fragrances because it will cause migraines and this soap doesn't at all. I really appreciate that it is a natural soap and available in a refillable pouch too to help cut down on waste. Everyone that has come to my house and used this soap has only sang its praises. 10/10 My husband and I highly recommend this soap and will be using it forever now. I cant wait to try out this brands other products! *I have been using this soap for 4 months*

Love this hand soap! It cleans well, doesn't clog my dispenser, doesn't leave my hands dry and has a pleasant, light scent. CLEANS WELL - Easily removes the excess makeup base/foundation and sport sunscreen product that is left on my hands after application. In the past, I would use several pumps of a popular pure-castile hand soap, but could still feel the oily/tacky remnants of base and sunscreen all over my hands. Now, with just one pump of Puracy's hand soap my hands are clean. NO CLOGGED DISPENSER - It is suggested (on the bottle & blogs) that pure-castile be diluted with water when used as a hand soap. I guess it's supposed to be strong enough to clean, but should help to not clog your dispenser. Well, it didn't work for me. It didn't clean well, and I didn't care for the watered-down consistency of castile as I pumped it out of the dispenser. I would have to be careful pushing down on the pump since it was so thin, and the nozzle still got clogged...even after just one day. Within a few days, soap would fly in so many directions, on the walls and on my clothes because the castile clogged my dispenser! It was so frustrating! I was wondering if it was the dispenser or the castile. I've been using these soap dispensers 2 Pack Firefly Craft Amber Glass Pump Bottle with Chalkboard Labels, 8 ounces each , and now with the Puracy hand soap it works perfectly! LESS DRYING & PLEASANT SCENT - From first use, I was able to feel the difference on my hands! Not a harsh soap at all. I was hesitant to purchase this because of the vanilla, but it's barely noticeable. I'm sensitive to strong fragrances, so I read through the questions/answers, and other buyers mentioned that the scent was mild, pleasant, and most couldn't detect the vanilla in the soap. All true :) I also use Puracy's Organic Baby Lotion Puracy Organic Baby Lotion - The BEST Calming Moisturizer - Gentle - Non-Toxic - Nourishing - Lavender & Grapefruit - 12 Ounce Bottle , and love this product as well.

We really like the Puracy liquid hand soap for it's texture (smooth, thick and creamy) that feels silky and lubricating, yet clean without any residual affects. No oily or greasy feel or sheen, not tacky, but skin feels soft, not dry. The first time, I ordered unscented and it was totally without any odor whatsoever, which I was very pleased about. It was very gentle and soothing to our skin, even after frequent usage. This tim I ordered a scented refill bag and a pack of four bottles with pumps. The refill package has a small leak at the top of the bag. Fortunately, there isn't much mess or loss. Apparently, the seal across the top doesn't have a solid continuous seal. There is a small break in it and seems to be a packaging process flaw. Quality control usually catches things like that, so I'm assuming this is not a common occurrence. No big deal this time; but if it happens repeatedly, I would consider it to be a problem. If not for the flawed refill packaging and the somewhat inflated cost, I would be giving this product and company a 5-star rating.

Soap. Like other hydrating soaps. Good deal EDIT: Actually felt bad after a while of use and made myself go back to Amazon to edit my review, since it was so crucial. I actually find myself wanting to wash my hands more frequently for the nice feel and the tender, sweet smell this soap leaves on my skin. I filled my bathroom container with it when the other soap was finished there, and I compulsively wash my hands there so the *new soap* can start being extracted, while every time the old soap still comes out - I get a bit sad inside. For some weird reason, this is the nicest soap I've had in my life. Not the smell, which is... great, but not complex like those boutique wooden sandals or burned-roses soaps. It's the feeling-hydration-smoothness you get that is so addictive. I really, really, really recommend this soap. Who knew..

Great, very light fragrance, gentle on sensitive skin but powerful at removing gunk.

I’ve been using this lavender vanilla scented gel soap refill for several years- a little bit goes a long way and it smells heavenly. I really like that it’s gentle in my sensitive skin and I no longer need numerous types of soaps on my bathroom counter- this one does it all and it rinses off easily -especially when it’s used in a *foaming dispenser- *but this gel refill (or any non-foaming liquid soap) isn’t designed to be used in the foaming soap dispenser- so it (they all) will break the pump if it’s not mixed with plenty of water ahead of time. I found that with all liquid soaps- it’s best to mix them a day or more before you plan to use the pump because if the undiluted soap goes up the pump- it tends to break it. (I mix it in another container that I’ve previously marked with the fill lines for the amount of soap and water needed, making a larger batch than is needed and refilling the pump dispenser several times from this mixture...) *I refill the foaming bottle with this mixture only after it has had plenty of time to stay combined (it no longer separates) so leaving it overnight and giving it the occasional gentle shake is highly recommended. I’m also careful to leave plenty of room for the air that’s needed for the foaming action. (I hope this makes sense- I learned to mix it ahead of time after several of the foaming pumps broke because I used them too soon- I didn’t realize the mixture had separated again.) I’m so glad to find a quality soap in a refill.

I’m slowly removing as many harsh chemicals as I can from my personal care routines and this soap is a step in that direction! Over washing with antibacterial hand soap over the last several years was leaving my hands dry and rough. After switching to this soap my hands are back to being soft and smooth. The smell is lovely but not overpowering and this refill package is so convenient. The refill quotes that it’s the equivalent to 4 pump bottles and I’m actually seeing that it’s a little bit more than that, which is a bonus. This brand gives me ingredients I can feel good about, a convenient way to refill without all of the extra plastic bottles, and it smells great while leaving my hands feeling clean and soft. Im super happy with this brand and I switched to their dish soap, too.
