I have been using GH flora series nutrients for over 15 years. I have never had any issues with its quality or performance. The flora series is a three part nutrient system, grow, micro & bloom. What I like most about the flora series is that it allows the user to make custom nutrient mixes. Though, an easy way to mix is by parts, like 1 part grow, 2 part micro, 3 part bloom; for a blooming plant. Or, 3 part grow, 2 part micro, 1 part bloom; for vegetative growth. Beyond that, with time, if you desire, you can make even more custom mixes utilizing differing ratios of the three parts. I have tried many nutrients in my time, but none gave the results that the flora series gives. It is very reliable and you get consistent results, which is very important if you expect to advance your gardening technique. I have grown tomatoes where people have commonly stated ..."this is the best tomato I have ever had..." I have to admit that it took me time to get there, but GH flora series was what I relied upon to take me there. I typically mix my nutrients, under bright light or full sun, at: 700 to 1400 ppm. I start out low and ramp up the ppm's as the plants flower. I drop back the ppm's as the fruit ripens. I start often enough with just a 3/2/1 ratio, changing to 1/1/1 ratio at transition, to 1/2/3 ratio at blooming. (Ratios are grow/micro/bloom). Though I use a meter to monitor my nutrients, I find that I can simply measure out the portions and they hit the concentrations (ppm) I need. And that brings us to pH. I do not often have issues with pH. My technique, assisted by the flora series nutrients, provide an environment where pH drift is not an issue. I do keep GH pH up around, in case I need to give it a little nudge... When I worked at a hydroponic store in a major metropolitan city, we sold more GH flora series than everything else combined... I would strongly recommend this nutrient system to other hydroponic growers...
