I recently purchased this violin rosin, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. I like dark rosin—it's my personal preference. So, when I was shopping for some inexpensive rosins to drop into project violins, I saw these and decided to order them. At their price point, they can't be beat. Of course, you get what you pay for; don't expect this to be an amazing, world-class rosin from a boutique manufacturer. It is not, and the amount of rosin that you get isn't exactly generous, either. However, there's a lot to like here. The rosin works great. I played all day today using this rosin, and it's fine. While it is true that this rosin will crack if you look at it wrong, this is mostly due to the shallow pour and the little plastic cases, which can be tricky to open. Exercise due caution, and you'll be OK. A little of this rosin goes a long way, so this little cake will last a while for the occasional player. Remember to roughen it up a bit with some sandpaper when you start using it, and it'll be good to go. Recommend.

if you know anything about rosin you know that these can easily break however this was packaged and sent perfectly so no breakage! i did have to scratch the surface of the rosin to get it to properly work( id use the frog of a bow to slightly scratch it or something sharp dont break it though) this allows it to really work well. The reason why i took a star off cuz my stupid self was like wow what a deal $7 or so for 6 of these !! a STEAL!. well, to say the least these are mini mini mini. good thing there's 6 of them. they may be tiny but should last around a year or so!

It definitely works, you just have to use a nail file to scrape off the top layer of the rosin for it to work. So, it’s mildly difficult to start, but worth it in the end. Works great!👍

They all came in tact, and not cracked. They do exactly what they're meant to. However, they are very small, and they have no side guard so my bow is constantly slipping off the side. I wish they had some kind of side-guards to prevent this, but other than that, they're great.

All of them arrived in great condition. My daughter plays the violin and has run out of rosin. This will work perfectly!

La calidad de la brea es excelente super suavecita de aplicar aun siendo nueva. La publicidad es algo engañosa porque esperaba que las cajitas de brea fueran un poco más grandes jeje 😅 pero en cuanto a calidad me gustó mucho. Tomé la foto de la brea junto a una moneda de $10 pesos para que vean el tamaño de las brea.

2 out of the 6 was shattered… ☹️ package was broken…😡
