Bought this for my mum who is elderly and bed bound. She had developed a nerve pain in her leg which was travelling up and down her body. The pain was severe when she was being turned or moved and mum needed moved frequently to prevent pressure sores. Transferred mum to this air mattress for 10 days. The ripple effect meant she did not need to be turn so frequently. The air movement also completely resolved the nerve pain in her leg. Total result was very positive. The mattress took about 30 mins to inflate fully to the maximum firmness. The pump was really quiet. There are 3 firmness setting which all worked well. The cover sheet on the mattress helpfully marked the head and feet and there were ties to secure the mattress to the bed frame. When not in use the mattress is compact and easy to store away. The mattress is a good quality and helped us provide hospital quality care at home.

Purchased this as I’m prone to pressure sores around my coccyx and heels, since receiving it’s helps 100% it has 5 firmness levels, extremely quiet pump, infact you really don’t hear it whatsoever, now I just hope the pump lasts and will see how customer support help if a breakdown happens. Buy this if your like me spinal cord injury, and lay in bed nearly 24/7 I do however suggest if you have a divan bed and partner I would opt of a super king size or queen and buy larger flat sheets to give the mattress the space to inflate and deflate, I do however 100% recommend buying this air mattress my only gripe would be is if they would also send out an extra washable cover incase of accidents and to just freshen up, if customer service read this and would kindly advise if they would offer one like most other brands I’ve shopped around for then I will update this review, if they don’t reach out I will reach out and update on here the decision, it’s a medical device and I’m surprised this isn’t exempt from VAT if evidence is provided again like most disabled products available on the web we are exempt from paying VAT

Great product , but plug was for EU not UK ! Seems very quiet , very easy to set up .

It’s a great bed topper as alternative to full hospital alternating air pressure mattress. It doesn’t seem to have movement re soft Inflation to hard inflation on the dial but it does alternate the pressure. It’s great. I’m delighted

I purchased the “opened box” and it works great. The only thing is it didn’t come with directions. Originally I thought the air chambers had a hole somewhere because it kept setting off the low air alarm. I finally figured out there were 3 plugs not in place. It had a red tag saying “CPR “ for the 3 plugs. I finally figured out it was in case of an emergency and you need to deflate the air mattress quickly. It made perfect sense but because I do not have a medical background, I had no idea to look for that on the mattress. Other than that I’m very pleased.

BED SORES HEALED WITH THIS! At advice from doctor, got this for Bedridden friend with MS, after few months, massive bed sores mostly healed so the bumpy patterns allowed for less pressure on bed sores, more air circulation, and that helped him heal...this was more affordable too than other similar products...will buy it again, even if it only last a few years or less but so far he has used it about 9 months?

This mattress is designed to prevent bed sores and more. We purchased this for my 91 year old mother to give her a better night's sleep while also preventing sores. From the first night she used it, she has loved it. We did have to let out some of the air after that first night because when fully inflated, it adds about five inches in height to her already high mattress and boxsprings. She almost fell out of bed that first night, but said she still slept comfortably. After letting out some of the air in the mattress on the second night, my mother slept soundly and comfortably. She had one sore when we purchased the mattress -- it is almost healed and no other sores have come up. We like that this one has a machine washable cover. Delivery was fast and everything in the box is as advertised.

Best product like this I've ever used. Downside is keeping it in place. Straps provided don't work.

I recently purchased this item and it is supposed to alternate pressure relief but it doesn't it inflates fully as they use fully hard without changing pressure. When I contacted Amazon to inform them of this issue they wanted me to hack the mattress back into the original package and ship it back to them leaving me with no mattress until they ship me out another one. Also when it comes from the factory the mattress is compressed into a small package now they want me to squeeze this mattress back into the original box afterwards have been opened and inflated. This is an impossible task and I informed Amazon of this and they told me there was nothing they could do to help me. So in conclusion the product doesn't work properly and when you call Amazon to see about getting a replacement they are are asking for me to pack it up and ridiculous way it's impossible to accomplish. I'LL NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN!!!
