I consider myself a flashlight connoisseur, but I could also be called a flashlight snob. I have collected many over the years, have used them tactically in the field and have staunch opinions regarding them. Took a chance on this light and am extremely happy with it. It has a rear mounted switch that you don’t have to fumble for in the dark. It is ON and OFF, so you don’t have to cycle through 20 other medium, low, lower, flashing, strobing, SOS’ing modes to turn it off after using for a moment, and you know what it will be when you turn in on. Although it is not “roll proof” its shape is roll resistant, which is an important consideration for me. The light is center weighted, not adjustable or uniform, which is my favorite configuration, and is insanely bright for a small flashlight. In fact, it is the brightest of my pocket-sized lights, and is a brilliant white, again my preference. It does not have the momentary on as advertised, but rather has a momentary off when turned on that I suppose would work well for a manual SOS. It is not as well made or finely finished as some of the high dollar lights that I have worked with, but is amply sturdy and I consider it a great value for the price. It comes with two 18650 batteries making it an even better value assuming you’re ok with that battery technology. I have converted several other 3xAAA lights to that type and am very happy with them. I've owned a ridiculous number of flashlights over the years. I'm always on the lookout for a nice one. I picked up a Feyachi 1200 Lumen light awhile back for my AR-15 that had the touch pad addition to it and fell in love with it. A fraction of the cost of the many name brand ones but was built incredibly well. This sparked me to pick this one up to keep in my EDC bag. Absolutely perfect. Extremely bright, well built, and with the 2 rechargeable batteries it comes with I couldn't go wrong. Very happy with my purchase and will trust this brand for many other purchases going forward.

Got these for myself and also for our adult children who live in a rural area. I bought my first one of these several years ago and it is still working great. They are very popular with the members of my sports club. Very powerful and not to be shined on anyone's face unless you need to repulse boaders.

I bought one of these a few years ago, had it mounted on my rifle and eventually took it off and used it for work. I work on heavy equipment for a living and it even got ran over by a forklift and still worked. It's extremely bright and comes with rechargeable batteries. Can't say enough good things about it. I finally left it at a customer by mistake and ordered a replacement. For the money it is the best flashlight you can buy hands down.

Flashlights with variable on/off settings annoy me (having to press three times or to hold the button for three seconds to turn off the light). This is not one of those flashlights. It's simple. On and Off and it's compact and sturdy. One feature that I insist on for a flashlight is the higher capacity batteries. The 18650 batteries for this flashlight fit the bill and last quite a bit longer than the AA/AAA.
