REAL & Fully THOUGHT-OUT review.....
If you want a REAL & THOUGHT-OUT review that isn't just thrown at you by a bitter person read on..... If you actually work at a fast physical pace and don't want to ever have to deal with underarm sweat even having hyperhidrosis or not, this is the best thing you can buy. I think that's what a review should reflect: If you are looking for a solution to pit sweating that isn't from a doctor than this is the best thing any can find. If there is anything anyone dislikes about how well this undershirt does it's job, I honestly mean no offense, but they need to Seek Medical Attention Immediately for any number of possible medical issues. What I mean by that is if this doesn't completely hide your exterior sweat issues then I can vouch for the fact that there are not other options besides seeing a doctor. I have hyperhidrosis (already seen a doctor for it) and I ruined my entire wardrobe out of denial and stupidity, plus having to try other cheaper attempts at a medical solution before my insurance will cover Botox. I sweat so severely that I've tried absorbing pads meant for under the armpit, I've tried other solutions like panty liners and I've tried other under shirts with similar padding. In the past I've picked shirts meant to show as little sweat as possible so when I'm at work I don't look disgusting because I have so much sweat under my arms. I can honestly tell you after trying this product on my busiest hottest most active days... It. Didn't. Show. Anything. I won't lie, I'm a little upset reading negative reviews because none of them seem to focus on the entire point of the shirt: the fact that it actually works and it does its job as well as promised. Now, if I was being pessimistic I would consider saying something like 'it makes you sweat more because it's so thick and makes you hotter'. HOWEVER, all undershirts will have that effect and 'WHO CARES?' because no one will SEE the sweat and it WICKS it right up under your armpits. As a matter of fact at the end of my sweatiest day this month my armpits felt drier than the rest of my torso and back because of the absorbent material under the arms. Because of this shirt I have finally felt for the first time in a year-and-a-half that I am not wasting my money rebuilding my whole stock of completely ruined shirts. I actually spent hundreds of dollars on new dress shirts because I finally feel like I won't ruin them in 2 wears anymore. Sizing was spot-on for standard t-shirt fitting. I'll read negative reviews and again I'm not out to bash those who haven't actually thought it through. But, based on a standard shirt bought at a standard store it fits bout spot on and anyone who still thinks it should be skin tight is missing the point of the product (not just to soak up sweat but to help wick up and 'air out' your pits). So it's good size wise as long as you don't base your sizing on somewhere like Abercrombie & Fitch or some store that uses different sizing as a sales technique because you have the opportunity to try it out in the store so you think everything else is sized wrong. Now I feel I should address reviews who complain about how it didn't actually evaporate the moisture that it wicked up, yet still wicked it up and still never saw it on the outside. First of all, if you're sweating A LOT consider the science of fluids. Water isn't normally capable of evaporating as fast as some ppl sweat. Second, I looked closer at the ones I saw saying this and they were wearing things like a jacket for 2 hours or have on something skin tight and not breathable. No rocket scientist needed here to figure out why the moisture couldn't evaporate, not the products fault, but perhaps user's miss interpretation of this product's technology. Also, for those who want the length of the arms to be shorter cut you're kinda missing the point of the shirt again and don't seem to realize how far down your arm the sweat will run or spread to. Something to keep in mind for sizing is that you may want your undershirt to be a size smaller than the shirt you wear on the top layer so it is not as easily seen underneath that shirt or cause extra wrinkles under a dress shirt. Not a bash on the product though. Lastly, as far as it holding up in the washer I haven't had a single problem with it and I have washed my first two shirts five times with a little bit of detergent, vinegar water, and dish soap each time. Now, it's just an opinion, but I think that anyone who complains about it getting holes after one wash or not holding up in the washing machine should consider actually using that setting labeled 'gentle' or consider getting a new washing machine. Bottom line is it holds up just as well as any shirt I have, and better than ones that cost twice as much. "This is what all undershirts should be like."

They Work and They Last
This shirt works. I've been wearing them for five years. I currently have five shirts that generally get worn once a week. The shirts do look old now I guess, but this is an undershirt so I don't really care that much. They still work as good as day one. I'm a 42yr old, 6' 220lb man. Decently athletic (I'm being somewhat generous to myself lol). XL fits great. Not too tight or too loose. The shirts are either 4-5 years old now and although they still work, I'm ready to refresh and buy a new set to wear for the next five years. They're expensive, but they work and last a long time, so I feel the value is definitely there.

Does the job.
I have axillary hyperhidrosis, so I've been looking for an undershirt that will hide the sweat stains that I get throughout the day. I bought one M size Thompson Tee, and one M sized Kleinert's to compare. I like the Thompson Tee myself. Pros: - Does the job. After wearing the shirt all day, I didn't see any signs of sweat stains on the shirt I was wearing. Cons: - Fits like a t-shirt, not an undershirt. I wear polos more often than button-down shirts, so I think the next shirts I buy will be a size S, instead of a M, so that it will fit better under those. (M would fit just fine under a button-down.) - The extra padding in the axillary region takes some getting used to. I feels like you're carrying something under your arm all the time. It's an inevitable feature of all shirts like this. Not a real "Con" per se, just something that you have to get used to. - Because sweat can't come through the shirt and evaporate, it feels like it pools in the one area, which makes it feel like you're sweating more than usual. It does not, however, show on the outside. - A little more expensive than I'd like, but also an inevitability with specific types of shirts like this. Seller shipped on time and it arrived in the mail early. Overall, happy with the product and intend to buy more.

Great product that does exactly what it claims to do!
I've dealt with excessively sweaty arm pits since I was in my 20s due to anxiety. I'm now 44. Over the years, I've adjusted what I wear to avoid embarrassing sweat stains on everything from dress shirts to fleece sweatshirts to sport coats . For the last several years, I've resorted to wearing a light weight fleece jacket around the office to conceal my wet pits. I'm not someone who leaves reviews for products I've purchased, regardless of them being good or bad. Until now. The Thompson Tee is a game changer. I purchased 5 of the vneck shirts a week ago and I've worn one each day since receiving my initial order. These shirts do EXACTLY what they claim to do! Today, I had an all day meeting with 8 people in a small, stuffy/warm conference room. For the first time in years, I clasped my hands behind my head and was CONFIDENT that my outer dress shirt was dry! I did notice that several sets of eyes zoomed in on my pits, looking for the sweat marks that normally would have been present. All I could do is smile knowing that I had nothing to hide! I felt much more confident and much less self conscious! For once, I felt NORMAL! Today, I placed an order for 5 more Thompson Tees. Are they pricey? Yes, they are. But, the level of self confidence that these t-shirts have brought me is priceless! Over the next few months, I'll be ordering several colored crew neck shirts to round out my collection. If you're on the fence with placing your order, just do it! You won't be disappointed! I wish these would have been around years ago! Thank you Thompson Tee for helping to restore my confidence and for making my day a bit easier :)

shirt works but pricey
I have a 45-46" chest and normally wear an XL t-shirt. I got a size Large of this undershirt. I've only worn it once, but it fits snugly without any compression, and stayed tucked in. The V in the neck could be just a touch deeper. I did not want the super deep V-neck, but this collar still shows a little. It is as comfortable under my dress shirts as the Jockey Large (tall) shirts I've been wearing for a couple years. The armpit pads were (are) a little awkward feeling at first. They are definitely noticeable. It still felt like my armpits were wet, but my dress shirt felt/looked dry. The price point on these is a little tough as I can get 2-3 Jockeys for the same price.

My underarm sweat problem is solved!
I love these undershirts! They totally work!! I was sweating through to my dress shirts and even to the inside of my suit jacket. Now, my sweat doesn't even make it through to my dress shirt. Only the first time I wore it did I get a tiny spot on my dress shirt. None every subsequent time.
