While Hot Rod as 'Hot Rod' may of only been in about half a dozen Episodes--some for only a fraction of an episode, including his introduction in the 1986 Movie, he has always been an all-time favorite for me--made so by his character in the TF movie. Him as Rodiums Prime, understandable so, was just not the same character. So when I saw this, even tough it is a mere 3.5' version of him, I had to buy it after missing out on the 1986 movie version a few years ago. And in saying that; this is not much chop. Pretty bland in terms of detail and articulation. I understand this line was made to have iconic characters at a smaller scale to not take up much space for smaller collectors, but the lack of detail here really is inexcusable. However, if this is the last Hot Rod AS Hot Rod they make, then I will just have to be content to have him in my collection as is. The figure itself, I would give a 7/10, 5 Star review for the service by Amazon for the price and it arriving not even a day after placing my order. Cheers.

Keep in mind, these are very small, like the size of a pointer finger in length. I got my son's while it was on sale for $6 something, and that's a good price, but the original price, no.... For being as small as they are it should be about $5-$6 toy
