Naval wing fold
This kit is excellent but requires careful reading of the instructions. The wing fold requires a lot of patience.

Awesome from Airfix!!!!
The Boys are back in town. Everything from 2012 has gone up market,2016 and onwards Airfix have taken their kits to a much higher level. A few more decal options would be nice sometimes but the detail in the cockpits and wheel wells,panel lines,airelons etc are brilliant. The Wildcat has a complex unique undercarriage and a genius mapped out the construction and instructions for this Airfix model. Brilliant. Get yourself and enjoy this sometimes under-rated sprightly naval aircraft which hit way above its weight over many WW2 theatres. Europe,the Pacific, land and Aircraft Carrier based,the Wildcat helped many a brave pilot earn the title of Ace. Great job yet again Airfix!! :-)
