Wow, this is such amazing Baklava! I was expecting it to taste yummy, but it's even better than that because it's actually CRISP!! I absolutely love this box and it would make a great gift! Every single bite is so decadent and not too sweet, so it's hard not to eat too many at once! Haha! It's also really nice how at least two rows are double layered, though I wish the one with the bronze paper under it (the one with pistachio) was also double layered as it's not. Either way, you get plenty of delicious pastry in this box. I hope to eat it quick enough that it won't get stale, because it is surprisingly fresh and I would hate for it to spoil!

The Damaskino baklava tastes SO MUCH BETTER than the Eastanbul Premium Baklava it’s not even close! The Eastanbul has no flavor at all, while the Damaskino really tastes delicious. Both have sugar, not honey…just no comparison in taste…at least with the two boxes I got.

First time buying this assortment from DAMASKINO Home. I watch a video on YouTube about the making of this Arabic dessert varieties and Oriental sweets. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it looked it was better. Beyond expectation ! A wonderful buy. lusciously delicious honey and butter. Fresher than fresh. They are crispy and left a lovely lingering sweetness on the tongue. An item I will continue to buy for all of my special occasions and a treat for me for my birthday. Wonderful product.

Served with other little desserts. They tasted ok, a little dry.

The packaging was nice and the baklava was arranged nicely but the flavor was overpowered by the large amount of pistachios in the mix. It was not very sweet either. You could taste some sweetness but it wasn't like baklava I've had before. The ones I've had had more variety like bird nests and almond flavor. Perhaps this was a different type. I think the price was too high also

Product came in perfect condition and was very fresh. The pistachios were delicious and had a great roasted taste. The shapes and textures are different, but basically all were around the same taste which in this case was ok because it tasted really good. The only note to make is that this is a style of baklava with syrup only and no honey. That seems to be the way Turkish Baklava is made. Although I'm used to the type dripping in honey I enjoyed these very much. I poured a little honey on some of them and enjoyed them a lot. Truthfully without all the honey the pastries stayed crispier and was outstanding. Adding the honey after was actually perfect. The ones without the honey, but just syrup tasted different, but were enjoyable. I reccomend this companies Baklava...so good.

I was looking forward this because I’m a huge fan of Baklava and order it often from the different sellers on Amazon sadly though, my experience has been bad except for one brand. I left a review for that band if you’re curious. The product was extremely dry like it’s been sitting somewhere, I initially thought maybe it felt dry because the package was left on my front porch during delivery and it was just cold so I let it sit for a couple of days before eating it and the result was still the same, it was dry even after sitting at room temperature for a few days. I wouldn’t recommend this brand if you’re looking for Baklava but, it could’ve been a bad box that I received and their products may not all be like this however, I would advise ordering at your own risk. The taste was decent though it just ruined the quality by the dryness.

We have purchased this at many different stores. Always loved it anywhere we got it. But when we tried this product, we didn't like it. It wasn't like what we have purchased else where. The taste was different and it just wasn't good to us. I had 6 different people try them ad no one like it. I got it for a Christmas party we had and it just wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend it. And for the price,it was disappointing that it has to go to waste because no one would eat anymore after there first try. It was fresh,and looked good. But just didn't taste good at all.
