Have always been sceptical of these type of products, felt they were a bit hocus pocus. But I had an eight hour car journey to do with my dog which I had done before where she got completely stressed with the length of the journey, not car sick but would turn and turn, pant and wouldn’t settle. So, when I had to do it again I spoke to my vet and asked what he recommended because I didn’t really want to sedate her. He recommended this, said he’d seen it with his own eyes on a dog where it had been used for fear / stress over fireworks. My dog is fine with fireworks but I thought if it works for that then it’s worth a try. It was brilliant, used with a bandana which I sprayed and put on her about 1 hour before leaving, sprayed the car seat about 30 minutes before leaving. Once we’d been on the road for about 40 minutes and she realised she wasn’t going to the park she settled down nicely. So pleased with this and can’t thank my brilliant vet enough.

I have a very anxious dog and it didn't work with him, and the smell is very bad

I find at times this REALLY helps but if u have an extremely anxious fearful dog i think this wld be good along with a thunder shirt.

We have an old dog (nearly 15) and he now gets very nervous and shaky in the car. We bought this to help calm him when we travel. We have used it twice and neither time did his nervousness change.
