package was vague, but sturdy. the build of the tool is great and no issues with operation.

This is the kind of quality and performance I generally expect from Dewalt. It went through 0.060 steel like butter, and could easily have done 0.075 I think. The blades are very precise and well-crafted, far superior to my older pneumatic shear. A close fit delivers easier cutting. You do have to find JUST the right angles for easy snipping, so I rock the tool slightly up/down and side/side until the cutting gets smooth and easy. What a joy to use.

Used for metal building. Cuts straight lines easly. Not for use over ridges. Seems to be well made.

This is a great tool and works well. The only thing I was disappointed in was the length of time it took to get delivered

From a professional installers opinion whom works with Sheetmetal. This tool is manageable to cut corrugated wall or roofing materials. You just have to wiggle the cut head back and forth by rotating your wrist right to left a little bit. Yes it is worth the money if you are in the market for a quality double cut shear. It cuts well through 16 gauge flat stock materials.

I use this daily it’s been working hard for my crew and my family. There are cheaper tools but I believe in the ability of this tool to be fast and true on the job. Less is not good when you have to be in and out on schedule. This is on my list of have to go to the job every job every day.

Works amazingly well! Doing any type of sheet work just got a lot easier! I just did a soffit and facia job. I would have used snips and a grinder in the past. And you’ll still need both. But this saves time and energy. Not to mention you’ll save your hands; not a single cut from this last job! I would definitely recommend getting this if you’re undecided!

Would not recommend to any one Dewalt is usually good product But this needs a redesign it cuts flat metal ok but not good at all on classic rib roofing The jaw has to small of a bite it gets hung up on the humps and dose not cut a very tight radius either Very disappointed

Cutter worked for about 1 battery then one bolt sheared off. now i have downtime getting it repaired
