Great book for the beginner or more experienced dollhouse crafter. Great ideas and shortcuts on many items. The book is inspirational as it gets your creative juices flowing! Beautiful pictures and easy-to-read instructions.

Very detailed and informative. I flow you on Instagram and love your work. In have dabbled in dollhouses off and on but now making this my hobby for retirement. Want to do small version off dollhouse so thought room boxes are the way to go.

This book is very detailed with tools needed, step by step photos and instructions. I fully appreciate the level of detail and color photos on every single page. If you are interested in building your own miniature room box or just looking for inspiration in the world of miniatures, I highly recommend! Thank you Rosa for creating this great resource!

I’ve been in love with minis for 60 years and am so happy with this book. I have built full size houses in the past but it has been a while and I don’t have the space for them so a roombox was perfect. The instructions in this book are clear and straightforward for anyone - no experience needed. From building the box to decorating, everything is clearly explained and easy to follow. I love all the inspiring photos too. This is the perfect book for anyone want g to get started in 1:12 minis.

When I found out Rosa from Simply Living Mini Designs wrote a book about her designs, I knew I had to order one. I was not disappointed! Each page is filled with details colored photos and details on where she got her items or how she made them. This is a must have book for any modern dollhouse maker.

I liked the way it is written, very easy to understand. lots of pictures of finished projects. There is a nice and full project to build and it is easy to follow. I was just expecting more instructions on how to build different basic furnitures for beginner. Overall it was an interesting booklet.

I am surprised by how helpful this book is. I follow her on IG and like her posts and the resources she’s has made. I went out on a limb and bought this. I’m glad I did. Lots of tips and tricks that I could use immediately. I have a 1:12 scale house but now I’m looking forward to putting together my first room box.

So excited to start my miniaturists journey. The author is great, and her books is easy to understand, and follow. Her Instagram page is truly inspiring, and this book is a great companion to that inspiration. I highly recommend this book if you’d like to learn. Update: I successfully made this room box as a gift for my neighbors for their Wedding Anniversary. They absolutely loved it! I’m so proud of how it turned out. I couldn’t have done it without this awesome book as my guide along the way. I’m already working on my next room box.☺️ Again (and now I can attest to), I highly recommend getting this book to get you started. Happy creating! Update 2: I added another photo to show another box I made with what I’ve learned from this book. I love doing this! I owe it all to Rosa, and her getting me jumpstarted with this book.

I was slightly disappointed when this first arrived, however on closer inspection it proved to be a very interesting and inspirational book. I went on to make a roombox as a gift, inspired by this book, and the whole project was very enjoyable and rewarding and well received by the recipient. As well as information about how to build the roombox itself, there are lots of tips and information about making minatures. I would recommend for someone just starting out with an interest in minatures and might be a first step for someone interested in making a dolls house. Great photographs. Would recommend.

Love all the ideas . Wonderful picture. More than I hoped

I am new to the miniature world and came across Simply Living Mini Designs on social media. When I learned she had a book about her room boxes, I ordered it right away. It was…disappointing and underwhelming to say the least. The pages seem to be printed on basic printer paper (like the kind we have in our office at work), so the pictures are quite dull and lack any lustre. I was a little shocked to be honest because I’ve seen school/university text books with better print jobs. There were only a few room boxes shown; I was expecting way more photos and well, just more! Her Insta page is way more interesting to look at, so hate to say don’t waste your money with the book.

This is a lovely book, not least because it uses everyday things for the boxes, and not expensive ready made miniatures. On my second box

Book is upside down and the book starts at the last page. Makes it impossible to follow along for ideas and inspiration. Frustrating as hell. Would not recommend.
