The tried and true case series
If you were lucky enough to get a 7th gen iPod Touch before Apple announced its demise, this is a must-have to help preserve your iPod for as long as possible, since you won't be able to buy a brand-new iPod anymore. I also have a 6th gen iPod that I've used for a few years without a case, and I would not recommend leaving it unprotected. I've been using Otterbox Defenders for about a decade on my smartphones, and I wouldn't want to use anything else. Very solid construction and protection. The screen protector is also very good on this. I don't notice any difference between using the touchscreen with the case or without the case. Another reason I like having the case is that it adds some considerable weight and thickness to the iPod, which is otherwise so light and thin that it's easy to forget about and leave in your pocket. Overall, I think these cases are a great value for the money. I'd recommend getting one before the supply dries up.

Never disappoints
My iPod touch is a few years now and has issues with the old case I had. When I dropped it (I’m clumsy) the battery would go from 100-1% and I would have to charge it. So to save it, I bought an otter box. I’m not new to the otter box family and I SWEAR by it. While I’ve actually broken otter box cases (mind you it was a LOT of stress) never once have my electronics perished under their protection. I was a little upset I couldn’t choose the color, but since it was an older case I understand. The colors are actually pretty cool and striking! I guess it’s like a purple/blue that’ll make you argue with your friend (like the dress) and the lime compliments it well. As an older case it has that plastic screen covering which is fine but for oily people like me, leaves fingerprints often. As a warning, don’t add a glass case under for the screen cause the touch won’t work. That being said, the buttons are hard to push. Eventually as you use it it’ll become easier. All in all the case is great and does what it needs to. I could YEET this thing to the pavement and it’ll be fine.

Arrived in good condition, in a timely fashion, at a reasonable price compared to other sites, and fits perfectly. What else is needed? Would order again.

Sturdy!!
I bought 2 OtterBox cases for my husband and I. They fit our gen 7 iPod touch devices perfect. They were easy to put on and seem pretty durable. I have always had OtterBox for my phones and have been pleasantly satisfied with the quality.

Not as good as their iPhone cases - 4/5
Not as smooth or sleek as their cases for the iPhone—but about as protective, which is why I prefer OtterBox cases. In 10+ years of using them I’ve never had a cracked screen.

Never lets you down
I have had my old case for almost 2 years now and I've dropped it more times than I can count. There were cracks on the front of the hard plastic and still had done it's job for months following. Not a single crack or scratch was on the actual device. Although it's not waterproof, it is probably the most protective case you can get. With a screen protector over the front of the screen keeping dirt and dirty fingerprints from getting on the actual screen. I decided this time I wanted to get the black as I had the gray and white before. Sticking to the same case I have been use to. I loved the little string that tightens around the wrist in case you start to drop it or someone tries to snatch it from you, making sure it won't go anywhere. You get what you pay for. I myself think that it is worth it you are trying to protect a device you have spent 100's of dollars on you want something to actually protect it. Although they are plain and don't have cute characters on it you can always decorate it yourself with a pop socket or other of your choosing. 10/10 recommend.
