The Coleman Utopia Breeze Reclining Beach Mat is a great find! It’s compact, easy to store, and super convenient to pack for a quick getaway. It works just as well on the sand as it does on grass, making it perfect for the beach, park, or even just lounging in the backyard. The built-in cooler is a nice bonus, and the mesh back and shoulder straps make it comfortable and easy to carry. Highly recommend for relaxed outdoor days!

Love the functionality, but be warned that the color may not be how it appears on screen. I bought the blue one, which looks like it would be a bright mint color, but it's more of an ugly, dull, sky blue color. Color aside, this is a must-have for the beach. It isn't too heavy, has a pocket big enough to fit a towel, and also has a convenient strap to make it easier to carry around. Anyone who's gone to the beach with me has asked me where I got this, and said that they need to purchase one right away. Since it lays flat on the floor, it's nice to be able to still be on the sand and lay out, while also having the option to be propped up when you wanna read while getting a tan. Highly recommend for any beach bum.

The beachcomber is nice. What I like: It easily folds in thirds and has two, sturdy Velcro closures. Quite lightweight with a convenient carrying strap. Not at all cumbersome nor awkward to carry. The color is as vibrant as the photo. The attached "convenience pouch" is zippered and appears to be well constructed. Not certain how the zipper will hold up with exposure to sand. I like that it is a mat. Best part: it felt super comfortable once set up! What I don't like: While the product width works with my frame (small side), it is more narrow than I anticipated. My husband might not be able to use this. Because it is so narrow, I imagine I'll have more sand on it (and me) than I'd like. Also, loosening the side straps to determine the incline is not as easy you might expect.

Many have asked where we got them from. Of course I said Amazon! It is very lightweight product. Nice and easy to lay on the sand. Convenient bag to hold beach items even sand paddles in it and it looks cool. It is also very easy to carry. Just have to get familiar with the way it folds. Perfect beach item. I'm surprised not too many people have it. You can even lay it flat if you want to lay on your stomach to get some sun on your back.

I don't know why beach mats like this aren't all over the internet & every Walmart, etc. I finally found it on Amazon & ordered it. It came in just a few days & was well packaged. When I opened it, I found it was much better than expected. The easily adjustable frame is welded & very strong.The zipper pouch in back can flop over the top & hold a small pillow if you like. It carries well on my shoulder. It's really a quality product. The ONLY down side is trying to remember which way to fold it so that the frame is inside and the velcro straps are in the right place to hold it closed. That's MY problem though, not theirs

After another picnic on a blanket in the park, trying to get comfortable enough to read my Kindle and failing, in my head I designed the item I wanted for my next picnic. It would be light, flat foldable for easy transporting on my scooter, and have an adjustable back rest slope for napping or reading. Made of a heavy fabric, with maybe a smidge of padding. Bingo! It exists. This is exactly what I had envisioned--with even a few extra clever details I hadn't put in, like that large pocket. The straps are solid, and the stitching looks good. I can't wait to take it to the park--it's killing me that I have to work today. And it is light. Even the delivery guy laughed at how light it was in the big box. It's perfect. I think I'll buy another.

I have another brand of this type of chair but this one said it weighed 1 lb. That is why I purchased it....because I am flying and need my suitcase to be lighter due to air line restrictions. This chair weighs in at 4.3 lbs so if you think you are getting an item that weighs 1 lb as stated in the description you are not. However in comparison to my other brand ( which weighs 2.4 lbs) it is sturdier and the padding a bit thicker

The cloth straps that are required to set the chairs up and pack them are of Very Poor quality. After 1 season the straps simply disintegrate, which leaves you with a useless beach mat and must be trashed. Its rather odd because the rest of the beach mat (Seating Mat and Metal Supports) is of good quality and not prone to rot. All of the straps on these beach mats need to be re-engineered with strong water proof materials.
