I am using aa few in mason jar solar lights for my patio

I feel like since it’s painted glass and not actual dyed glass. I feel like you should get more for the cost. After so many uses and washes and getting dirty and washing and banging around they start to chip their color. I think if something is cheaper made I should get more of them.
