Great little knife

This knife was way better than I expected nice and heavy super sharp opens easy closes easy.....just feels nice in my hand....I did buy it as a gift....but after I showed it to my wife we....are thinking of keeping it for ourselves. Very nice knife.

This bad boy just may be the best budget (folding) home or camp cooking knife you’ll find anywhere for 20 bucks. It arrived on time and was well packaged. No defects anywhere. Blade was tight (no wobble). Looks good and is lightweight and just long enough blade wise for most cooking chores. Blade arrives about 90% sharp and once you add IN the remaining 10% sharpness it will cut just about anything within reason. It’s also a great all around box/string cutter, etc. I've purchased a lot of knives over the years and for $20 bucks I’m impressed. Will it perform like a $100 cooking knife? No but so what? How many people do you know that actually NEED a $100 cooking knife? Unless you’re some hotsee-totsee chef with a teevee show, this blade will do anything you need it to do within reason. It’s a keeper. :)

Yeah its sharp! I handle knives all day. Rarely do I get cut. With a thin blade as this is the weight ratio to handle geometry is elusive as you cut and move. I think you don’t feel the blade as much. It’s there but you some times forget the blade location. Be careful. Beautiful usable cutter and slicer. Not just plant life. Totally confident to use as a self defense companion if your trained in slice and dice. In the day you couldn’t get a folding knife as perfect in ever way. Love it. Ordered the clever jade handled one for add flexibility. My standard edc is cold steel EX Espada 5.5 I think from now on I prefer slice and move to plunge and stab. Ha Ha

I appreciate the form and function of utilitarian tools. That's why I love this knife. The olive wood handle feels so nice in your hand, and the heft/balance of the knife speaks to it's quality. It opens with a flick of the thumb, and is locked in that position until you press the release lever, which works flawlessly. I plan on buying another one for a backup.
