Impact Pro Backdrop Support Kit (12.9' Width)

I am so happy with the quality of this backdrop. I have had a few cheaper models that fell apart within a year, and finally got this one as a recommendation from 2 different photographer friends. Definitely worth spending a little bit extra for something sturdy that will last at least a few years!

I have owned about 6 or 7 backdrop stands over the years and this one is my absolute favorite. Pros: I love that you can seamlessly extend it to any length. It doesn't bend or bow even with decently heavy canvas backdrops. I like the versatility of being able to front mount or top mount it as well. The fact that the crossbar extends so easily, means that one person can set this up by themselves easily, especially if you use the front mount option. The stand are solid impact stands, not the most heavy duty, but they get the job done, are solidly constructed and go much higher than my other backdrop stands. Cons: None, I absolutely love this setup.

The stand pieces are excellent quality. I love that the stands can be used as light stands and a backdrop stand interchangeably. However, the bag they sent in which to carry all these pieces, is too small. It’s very disappointing. Amazon was unable to fix the problem without just doing a full return and refund. I will try to look elsewhere for a bag.

Product appeared to be of excellent build and quality, but one tripod is defective and the other is quite stiff to open and close. Spoke with Impact customer support who were VERY nice and who attempted to be helpful, but one tripod will not open fully because the center post is stuck and the legs will not extend and we could not fix it. Love the telescoping crossbar and I HATE to return item, waited 10 days for it. Not mad, but disappointed.

This is a heavy duty stand, the crossbar will not bow with a weighty backdrop. It is portable even though it's quite long and heavy, but I'd rather have a heavy duty stand that doesn't collapse on a client! Throw some sandbags on it for extra stability. I love the telescopic crossbar, this means you just slide it out instead of trying to fit three poles together. I think this also makes it more durable since there's no 'breaking points'.

This is such a good sturdy heavy duty stand . Buy it you will not regret it .

Heavy duty! I bought this for its higher than typical top rise as I like to take the background well above head height or all the way to the ceiling. I was pleasantly surprised that it also easily supports a full long 12' wide roll of seamless. Stands also have extra wide footprint for added stability. Well worth the price.

For a $200 backdrop stand I kinda expected the crossbar not to bend noticeably… used it for the first time today and it definitely sags in the middle. And it’s easily noticeable.
