We always chose either Falcon or Gibson when it come to jigsaw puzzles as they are very good quality and the choice of pictures is really good with a focus on the modern past with many of them being set in around the 1950s/1960s era. This one is set in a village in summer with the last postal collection and a fine scene of village life of that time and has great colours and as usual plenty of likable and interesting characters including the butcher, baker and policeman on a bike among others. As usual the pieces are of good quality and while these are not designed to be easy they are an enjoyable challenge and will usually take about a week to complete at a couple of leisurely hours a day. Bought as a present and did not disappoint. Looks great when complete and end result was usual good Gibson quality. All pieces present and good value for a 1000pc size jigsaw puzzle. Overall the size is as expected for the 1000pc variant. Enjoyable without being over difficult as the due to the lively scene and colours.

A lovely somewhat easy jigsaw.

Very enjoyable to put a jigsaw together when you love the picture. I love vintage pictures that take you back to the past in a rose-tinted way. Doing this puzzle with my family was a great way to bond and come together as a break from our independent busy work lifestyles. Pure escapism! The quality of this puzzle was excellent and a printed picture was included which was really helpful. 5 star rating from me!
