The product was great but just not for wat I needed came fast as well but had to return

Seems to be totally reliable and is quite a weight which implies no cost cutting in the design.

I have dropped one star as the inverter is not protected against reversed polarity DC input, checking with Victron, reversed input will damage the unit. Be very careful how you connect it. The standing current in normal mode is approx 400mA, and the unit is silent when running on light loads. The output Voltage was exactly 230V at 50Hz. I cannot detect any radio interference from the unit, unlike some cheaper units. The UK output socket is now mounted "upside down" as delivered, to facilitate connecting a UK mains plug. The 5 year warranty, quick response to queries on the Victron support forum and full certification for the product make it a much better unit than the far eastern units.

No need to look at any alternatives, if this has the right output then this is the right choice. Very smooth AC output suitable for laptop chargers and anything remotely sensitive. Quality product solidly made.

Victron Invertors are the industry standard. High order of workmanship, very reliable and recommended.
