These work Great. This isn't a 5-minute job You must be very careful slow and steady and kept the tap clean when using it. Working in and out numerous times backing out and putting in very good price for the size.

Quality bit and tap set for the money. Worked like a charm drilling out a rusted, frozen 3/8” steel nipple in my air compressor. Heat, easy outs, internal pipe wrenches, nothing would remove it. This kit enabled me to drill it out and tap it 1/2” NPT and install new fitting in the bung just like it was factory. Definitely worth the investment for me.

Great quality. I ordered the wrong size though. Turns out you need a 1/16 npt for a nitrous nozzle. Regardless it goes on the work truck as another tool I bought and didn't need

Works great, ive ordered other sizes from this company and will order more when needed. With a NPT tap, never tap all the way down, otherwise you will not get a taper in the threads. Tap deep enough to get 3 full turns on the fitting you will be installing into the tapped thread. Once tightened with a pipe wrench you will have a perfect, no leak connection.

The drill bit and tap worked as expected to enlarge a hole to fit a half inch pipe fitting.

Good price, needed the tap to make new threads in a aluminum caliper for a bleeder screw repair kit. Turns out I didnt need the drill bit as the hole was the perfect size , just ran the tap down to the bottom of the hole , installed the repair kit , worked for me. The drill bit is still great to have if you need to drill out some other kind of caliper or whatever needs a repair kit etc.

This is exactly the right tool for pipe threads 1/2” The price is very good and the combination drill/tap is great for repairs. Most threads in plumbing are in bronze and soft metals, so it should last a very long time Quality is very good (carbon tap) for non-commercial - highly recommended
