Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic

I used this synthetic oil for a snowblower oil change, and it handled the job exactly the way you want in cold weather. The pour is smooth even in low temps, which makes it easy to get an accurate fill without fighting thick, sluggish oil. Once in the engine, it noticeably improved cold starts and kept the Snow King running steady under load. Many full synthetic oils out there but you can't go wrong with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. Have been using it in my vehicles with no issues. Change my oil every 5,000 miles. It's Dexos1 GM Gen 3 approved and has less Parts Per Million (PPM) of additives then other oils which have to add additional additives to get Gen 3 approved. This means the base oil of Pennzoil is better without adding the additives to get Dexos1 Gen 3 approved. Gen 3 means you have great protection and a cleaner oil at the base level. I know, too much tech talk but you're basically getting a better quality oil for the price. With any oil you use, change it at the very least based on your owners manual. Changing the oil is key to protecting your engine and providing you years of operation.

I like to go 10k miles on my oil changes, however, I don't trust many oils to do that without wear even if the manufacturers say you can. this is the best bang for the buck oil for slightly extended changes.

Pennzoil makes great oil and I'm grateful to Amazon for making this available online. However, I wish Amazon would sell the 10W-30 Ultra Platinum at the same prices as the 5W-20 and 5W-30 oils and in the individual 5-quart packages (instead of just 3-packs). Every time I do oil change with the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, I feel my car's engine sounding smoother and running better. Makes a real difference. Fantastic oil~!!

Cannot beat the value. Whenever I do not want to fork out the cash for more expensive oil, this is what I use. Top tier consumer synthetic oil that has top grades for lubrication, longevity, and cleanliness. Youtube has several videos that demonstrate how good this oil is. Only oils that can compete are amsoil, joe gibbs, and high performance lubricants.

It's hard to know if oil is working well without getting an oil analysis, and most of us are not doing that very often, if ever. About all that we have to go on are review of oil testing that we see on YouTube or read about on the internet. What I like about Pennzoil oils is that they consistently get great reviews from engineers. Their oil test results are excellent, too.

I believe this is the best oil on the market, period. I used Amsoil for a long time, but I think this is even better and less expensive. And the way that it is made insures that it is a superior product.
