I unexpectedly found myself fostering a wee little kitten, still too small for vaccines, flea treatments, etc. Along with soapy baths, I'm using this comb to give her some relief from the handful of fleas that came with her. No luck with using it on her right after a bath. However, it does a great job when her fur is perfectly dry! The rounded prongs mean I can really dig without hurting her skin -- and she seems to enjoy it too. The small size allows me to navigate around her ears, etc. And the prongs are so tight that they trap the fleas until I can get to a sink to properly dispose of them.

This flee comb is good for small dogs. It remove even the sleepy in his eyes,or comb the brown stained in his eyes.

Works perfectly and good quality, well made, durable comb. This picks up the flea dirt with ease! Money well spent.

Best flea comb I’ve ever used! It works extremely well on short haired animals to extract the fleas from there for! I would however recommend having a bowl of water and some Kleenex or toilet paper to get the fleas off the calm as you continue to run the comb through your pet. they have a tendency to jump off the comb of the comb it’s not wet and you use the bowl of water to get the fleas off the comb and then I use some Kleenex or toilet paper to clean the comb of the tiny fleas that are on there and then I repeat the process until you’ve gotten all the fleas off your pet. this is something that you’ll have to do repeatedly at least a couple of times a day until you resolve the flea issue because these guys keep coming back so try to find some natural flea spray I’ve made my own using lemon and vinegar with water mixture in a spray bottle and constantly spray them and their bedding area and that seems to work…

Never had an indoor cat before. But now that I do, it is nice to have a little flea comb for him. This one works great. I had to make sure that the little bowl (with a drop of dish detergent in it) was very close by and I’m trying to teach him how not to drink out of it while he’s in my lap. He’s still a kitten and very playful, so I have to wait for him to be in the mood . But training him while he’s young is gonna be a plus and worth all the patience. Just don’t force it. I bought a plastic comb too that may be good for combing but it just doesn’t do the same for comfort nor fleas. The metal tines and curved handle is the trick to snag the occasional flea. I also give him ONE treat after a very short daily session and he is learning to associate seeing the comb and hearing me shake the treat-bag with pleasure and he comes running. He does not get these treats at any other times. Once we master this, we’ll work on his learning to be leash-trained, but that’s for another delightful outdoor playtime we’ll both enjoy on the deck.
