Better than anything at the auto parts stores

This item is a junk. Broken at first try to use. All the grease passed through the piston and stayed inside the celinder. The spring pushing the piston no longer works. Pump does not work at all. A stopper for the piston can release it at any time while charging the lubricant into the cylinder. Have time to dodge anything not to get everything that's charged in the face. With pleasure I would send this rubbish smeared with lubricant to the manufacturer, but feel sorry for the USPS. Such a piece of crap.

Compared to the Milton S-3102, this grease gun is far superior. That item had many negative reviews, due to quality control and materials. There were a few LUCKY buyers who received a functional unit. The CARBYNE unit works 100% as it should. Instructions are included. Features a locking mechanism for the handle which is lacking on many others. Higher quality parts and heavier materials should ensure a long life. Unlike some others, I am NOT being compensated for any of my reviews ! I just tell it like it is and let buyers make their own conclusions.

Loose a lot of grease

For the price, this is an adequate tool. loading cartridges is easy and it worked well the first time with only ONE KEY issue! The hex head bolt that allows the flex tube to be installed (and in my case it was ESSENTIAL that I be able to) was so tight that I was unable to break it loose without rounding out the head! As a result, I am unable to install the flex hose and make it usable to me so basically the use(s) for the tool are LIMITED because of it! Otherwise, this product is well made, fuctions well and (in spite of limited usability as noted above) should serve me well in limited reach situations. I would not buy it again because of the issue with removing the heax head.

Use it at home for trailer bearings and some occasional Automobile work. Don’t need a full size professional gun. Had been purchasing mini grease guns at the auto store and they last a couple of years, they break, go buy a new one. Saw this online and thought I’d give it a try. Defiantly worth the extra 10 dollars I spent. Much easier to load, a lot sturdier than my old one and all around a better tool.

Not impressed. On my second tube of grease, it simply quit pumping. I took it apart and nearly lost the bearing and spring and found out a rubber o-ring was destroyed. Put it back together with the broken o-ring in place and somehow it started working again, but soon after it started to leak from the main nozzle, despite how tightly I had it threaded on there. This is most certainly NOT heavy duty - spend a bit more for a quality mini gun.

I needed to use heat gun on set screw in order to unscrew...not good inside was lots of residue had to clean ..not good..otherwise great product works well even one handed very good..changing tubes easy no hassle....very good.. overall 5 stars.
