I like the design. The production quality seems to be good, the materials appear to be natural bamboo and glass. The design of the notch for the glass lid to sit in supposed to help maintain butter fresh and free from liquids/mould. It is both small enough to fit on the small fridge shelf and large enough to take a standard 250g butter block from all main supermarkets in the UK. The wood is untreated and requires oiling/buttering prep, then it obtains a nice colour. The only con that i see is handling of the wooden base - the edges are machined very fine and there is not chamfer/rounding/fillet present so it is almost too sharp and can cut delicate fingers/skin.

Lovely looking butter dish. Very solid, be aware it’s incredibly heavy, as I found out when I dropped it on my big toe, causing a fracture while the dish remained largely in one piece!

Matches my minimalist kitchen. I stopped buying margerine some time ago and I feel healthier for it. Having the butter nearby on the counter is convenient for cooking.

Have bought this product previously and love it (dropped our previous butter dish and it smashed) so this was a replacement. Great size, easy to use and wash

Rubber seal clings to the wooden top like a rubber band, but was stuck to inner edge of base as if it had been over heated and glued together on delivery, still bits stuck on a few washes later. Lid seems to fit better without the rubber seal. Other than that seems solid base and does the job.

Well made

The silicone seal was stuck to the porcelain on arrival so it ripped when we opened the lid... Looking through the reviews now and have seen a similar problem with many other orders/reviews. Was going to reorder as I thought we just had a fault one off, but seems to be a regular occurrence. Wont be reordering in that case I think, which is a shame as the design is the most pleasing we found..

Je voulais cacher de façon esthétique un grand Fleurier, et que la céramique aille avec mon service bleu et crème, ce beurrier est bien de couleur crème .Par contre impossible d'y mettre un grand Fleurier ni 500g de beurre , pour le grand Fleurier possibilité de démouler, sinon sur photos jointes Le Fleurier petit format passe très bien sans le couvercle du Fleurier mais pas de souci pour le couvercle du beurrier en bambou. Sinon je suis satisfaite, nettoyage aisé, joints résistants.

Peut-être un peu cher?, mais esthétique et idéal pour conserver du beurre en dehors du frigo.Envoi rapide et soigné . Est une erreur , pour que le beurre reste facile à tartiner , je ne l'ai jamais stocké au frigidaire , sauf quand il fait chaud . Mais il lui faut un beurrier bien sûr fermé . Ne pas mettre le couvercle au lave vaisselle , ce qui peut paraitre logique ... Très sobre , fonctionnel et joli.
