I use these pens for anything that needs to be handwritten - letters, forms, notes. There’s never any mess, and they don’t need to be refilled frequently, as a fountain pen does. And unlike a ballpoint, you don’t have to press down - the pen really does glide across the paper, so you can write faster and without tiring your hand. I find the 0.7 mm version ideal for writing - large enough for the ink to flow freely, but without any danger of flooding the paper or smudging.
