Capzasin-HP Arthritis Pain Relief 1.5 oz pack of 1

I have Diabetic Neuropathy in both feet, severe, & been dealing with this for about 27 years! The best coverage until your feet begin to get numb, is for the doctor to have you on a good dosage that he will decide with you of Lyrica, or Neurontin, & then FAITHFULLY use the Capzasin. Other classes of narcotics like Morphine, etc. will do nothing for nerve pain like this. So many friends, & even doctors, don't know much about that combination; one asked me to write down the OTC medications. He did not know there were any & had many patients still suffering. I was covered well for years, on Lyrica & got on a weaker OTC creme for a while. But I had renal failure due to other health issues, which meant I could not remain on as large of a dose of Lyrica for fear of further damage. I bought about 5 different OTC cremes & gels trying to get something to work. One thing is for sure, No mature which you use, if you don't use it at least 2 or 3 times a day at first, that slight burning sensation will not go away. but you will feel nothing after a week or two not even neuropathy pain, but REMEMBER, THIS DOES NOT CURE THE SOURCE OF THE PAIN, BUT GIVES YOU RELIEF OR COVERS UP THE PAIN ONLY AS LONG AS YOU USE IT REGULARLY! In the 1st photo you see the stronger Capzasin creme that i went back to, & my doctor said he was gonna suggest it because it is the best. I showed him the tube I had.It helped, but without a heavier dose of thr Lyrica, it was still sort of unpredictable, I could get no more than 2 hours of sleep at a time. i was stuck in my apartment. THIS IS MY NEW INFO FOR ALL USERS: {some of you know this 1st part},on one picture on this website it showed the creme 0.1 % strength, but they were selling the gel 0.025% strength in the 2nd photo above. I had ordered it. Amazon corrected my mistaken order, but told me to keep othyh er tubes, or give it away. Well while i waited for the right order to come i used some of the gel. This is the only product that successfully takes away my knee pain. I have a funky right knee, it feels like a knitting needle is stabbing my patella when I bend it about halfway, so I've been neglecting certain exercises for years. After I apply Capzasin, it replaces the pain with a warm feeling. I can bend all the way without feeling any pain. It's amazing. Because of this, I have been able to do the leg machine at the gym again and build up my surrounding muscles that I couldn't engage when my knee was screaming in pain. WARNING: It can get very hot, and if you do activities that require you to sweat a lot, or have something pressed up against the area where you applied it, it might even get too hot, and you'll find yourself frantically washing it off in the nearest restroom. I skateboard with kneepads, and while it completely takes away my knee pain, it replaces it with a sunburned feeling unless I rinse it off a little before putting on my kneepads. Once I rinse it, my pain stays away, and the heat is not overwhelming. I highly recommend this for people who have pain that prevents them from moving the way they used to. Another thing I can do now is walk quickly downstairs without holding the bannister or grimacing from pain. Oh, and NEVER touch your eye area if you applied with your hands. Even if you think you washed it all off. I ate popcorn an hour after applying some and washing my hands twice, and the popcorn was spicy! I don't apply with my hands anymore, I use a paper towel.

No smell. It doesn't take a lot of product to work. The more you use it, the better it works. I have had prescription cremes that didn't work this well. There are 2 things to consider - I wear a glove when applying this because even after hand washing, if you rub your eyes, it burns. Don't apply in folds or creases on your body - it will get uncomfortably hot.

I did not like this product due to the burn it caused. I tried it on my feet and back. The burning on my feet was very uncomfortable. I decided to give it another chance. I put it on my low back. Everything was OK for a couple of hours. In my back started burning it burned show badly I can barely drive home. I couldn't even get it to wash off. I finally googled caspen cream and saw many people had this problem. They recommended putting milk on the burn to stop the pain. When I did this I got relief.

For whatever reason, Chattem discontinued the Capzasin no-mess applicator with 0.15 Capsaicin which I had been using for around 40 years. Now I have to use the Capzasin creme which is not only 0.1%, so not as strong, but you have to be very careful to wash your hands afterwards. It still helps so I will use it. I've tried CBD and THC but this still works better. Please bring back the No Mess Applicator which was so much better and so much easier to apply!!

Everybody wants pills or shots, but sometimes a cream works better. Capsacin-P cream is the best pain reliever out there. Period. It does not just reduce the pain. It makes muscle pain disappear. It obviously won't work for a headache or abdominal pain, and I doubt that it will work for joint pain, but it works very well for muscle pain. I use it for erector spinae strain. The muscles are just under the skin in the lower back. The cream gets to those muscles just fine. It works so well, in fact, that I avoid using when working. I might aggravate the injury in my back and not know it. But be warned. It can burn like the dickens! Apply only a small amount (about the size of a pea) to the affected area. After you have used it a few times, you can judge for yourself how much to use.

Good product

I bought this on my Doctor's recommendation. I have nerves on the top of my foot that drive me crazy at time with throbbing discomfort, due to foot surgery and a life time of running. My Doc said this stuff has an ingredient from some plant that is "hot" and it sort of shocks the nerve to relax. I bought it, I tried it, and it works for me. Great fro throbbing foot pain and even mortons neuroma.

Me funciona muy bien esta pomada para el dolor neuropatico. Es la única que me calma el dolor y he probado MUCHAS cremas. Solamente recomiendo utilizar guantes para ponerla y ponerse POCA CANTIDAD porque sí quema mucho.
