Motif Medical Slow-Flow Baby Bottle Nipples for Luna

I am so glad I found these nipples. My son preferred the bottles that came with my Spectra pump (we tried 5 other brands) but you can't buy extra nipples from Spectra. After some searching I found that these were the same nipples and fit other wide neck bottles. Perfect for when I return to work!

These fit the bottles well but are NOT the same as the spectra nipples which makes me very sad. I've looked a lot for some that are the same as the ones that came with my spectra bottles as my baby only likes those ones... I am very disappointed with that because of the 13 dollars price. in the photo, you can see the spectra one to the left and these ones to the right.A few more things to add are that the material is very thick in comparison with the other nipples, the ones from spectra and MAM (there are the only other 2 brands I have) and they are very slow flow too.

I was looking for a replacement nipple for my spectra bottles (since its difficult or impossible to buy those.) These fit just fine with no leakage. They appear extremely similar to spectra nipples. They do not seem to work the same, however. My baby cannot get anything out of them. I even tested them out on myself and struggled. Maybe when he's older he will get the hang of them, but they are collecting dust in a cabinet for now.

Other reviews compared these to the nipples included with Spectra pump. These are NOT the same at all. Very, very slow milk flow. My baby is not particular, and will use almost any nipple/bottle...she attempted to suck for 15 minutes with this and only got 0.5 oz. Normally finishes a 3.5 oz bottle in that amount of time.

I couldn’t figure out why my baby wouldn’t eat and just cried and cried when I was trying to give him a bottle. Turns out literally nothing pulls through the one nipple in this pack. I tried it myself, with a Spectra bottle and a Motif bottle and then just alone without a bottle and not even air pulls through. Tried the second nipple and BARELY anything pulls through. These were an absolute waste of money.
