Efficient, stylish tea kettle - great value!
Tea kettle heats quickly and is easy to clean. The whistle is loud enough to alert me, but not over powering. The pot is large enough for 2-3 cups of tea and I'm pleased with how easy the spout opens. The only thing that I would change is how the top rubs when securing it in place - it feels like aluminum on aluminum, but seems to stay in place securely. I'm happy with the deep black color.

Beautiful and functional
Love the color, the weight, and the sturdy handle. The whistle has a mind of it's own but always reminds me there's water brewing... sometimes very quietly and sometimes quite loudly. I'm glad I spent a little more and got this tea kettle! I use it daily and feel more confident handling it in a safe manner due to its size, weight, and sturdy handle!

All form, minimal function
While this tea kettle is beautiful, I'm really disappointed in the quality. The whistle does not work consistently, which is a major reason I bought the kettle in the first place. The would have been fine, however, if it weren't for the rust I noticed on the inside of the kettle this morning. I've only had it for just about two months, and I've never had the INSIDE of a tea kettle develop rust like that. The design is heavily flawed. Every time you remove the lid to add more water, a little tab in the inside of lid (that holds it closed), scratches the lip on the kettle, ruining the enamel and allowing rust to develop. If you're a very occasional drinker of hot water and just want some eye candy for your stovetop, or a prop, it is a beautiful kettle.

Knob fell apart within a month
This is a pretty good item. It looks good and heats quickly. It feels lightweight and a bit flimsy. After a few weeks of use, the badge fell off the lid handle. We couldn’t figure out how it was attached in the first place. It wasn’t possible to snap it back in place or the like. We resorted to using SuperGlue to secure it back in place because the knob is very unattractive without it. Disappointing for the price. We weren’t looking for a premium item, but the price suggests medium quality, and the construction belongs on a cheaper item.

Good
I think this a beautiful, stylish, and high quality tea kettle for the price. I can’t speak to durability yet, but I like Circulon. I needed a tea kettle and this is just what I wanted, for the price. I have already used it and like it. It heats up well. Now about the whistle? I don’t know, I don’t have other tea kettles to compare this to. At this price point I am fine with it. But no, the whistle is not loud, it’s pretty quiet. It actually just sounds like a little bit of wind is going outside instead of a whistle or sharper sound. It’s so soft and gentle and quiet. Also this is a larger kettle than I expected and I’m fine with this and the whistle- Circulon is a good quality and all I need is to be able to make tea! If the kettle remains as beautiful as it is now, I will be very happy and have no complaints. A louder, sharper whistle would be nice.
