After becoming intimate with my boyfriend 9 months ago, I have suffered from UTIs every 5-6 weeks with nothing to help but antibiotics. I could cry as I write this because I have been intimate with my boyfriend several times in the last two weeks on D-Mannose and NO UTI! I wasn't even careful like I have been in the past with showering, drinking tons of water, going to the bathroom, etc. so I could really try this stuff out to see if it would work. This Sunday will be my 9th week UTI free and after using this product, I feel like it has been the cure I was praying for. I dissolve a little under a tablespoon in 8 oz. of water and drink it an hour before being intimate and then drink the same amount right after. There was one time I wasn't able to drink it before and just had it after and it still worked. I have also been taking a D-Mannose with cranberry pill supplement once daily as the bottle recommends but I buy that locally because I can get it locally. I am telling you, if you suffer like I did, TRY THIS! PLEASE BE AWARE that D-Mannose only works on e-coli bacteria, which is the cause of UTIs 85% of the time. My doctor ran a culture on the last UTI I had and told me the bacteria that caused it was e-coli, and because all my UTIs have been intimacy related, I deduced that most of them were probably caused by the same bacteria and so D-Mannose would be a good fit for me. You may need to get a urine culture done with your next UTI before trying this. This company has the most inexpensive product for the effectiveness that I have found online. I am very pleased with BulkSupplements Pure D-Mannose. I occasionally get UTIs from sex or bubble baths and have the occasional need to take something for the discomfort. This quality product is very effective without the expense (financial and health wise) and chemicals. The powder arrived quick and well packaged. Upon opening, it has a very light, sweet smell. Re-closing the zippered package was a little challenging as I had to shake the powder down but not difficult enough to be frustrating in my opinion. A quick taste of the plain product reveals a slight sweet taste. It mixes well with liquids. In water it practically disappears. I actually gave some to my friend's daughter in a glass of water without telling her (with her mom's permission, of course) and she never knew until we told her. Like me, her slight irritation disappeared. I use it in water, juices, yogurt, on my cereal, and more. I tend to use it as a preventative when romance is high or when planning on a relaxing bubble bath at the end of a long week. It has served me well and I have avoided trips to the local doctor and the pharmacist. I stumbled upon this D-Mannose while researching for natural ways to deal with UTIs. I originally tried another highly rated brand but BulkSupplements had the better price and a greater amount. If you research D-Mannose, you'll find that it not only supports overall urinary tract health by reducing the binding of unwanted bacteria to the lining of the urinary tract and balancing the flora, but it is reportedly safe for long-term use and does not interfere with blood sugar levels. I highly recommend BulkSupplements Pure D-Mannose for the quality, the price, its ease of use, and to help significantly reduce the risk of recurring UTIs. My only complaint/suggestion to BulkSupplements is that they list the amount in ounces as well as grams. But, this suggestion does not affect my rating.

I had been struggling with a UTI for almost a week. A while back I was told that cranberry juice was supposed to help eliminate the infection but it was doing nothing for me. In fact, it was probably making it worse. I tried looking everywhere for a natural solution when I stumbled on an article talking about D-Mannose. At this point, what did I have to lose? I decided to try it. I got a small amount from a different brand first. It seemed to be helping, which was great. Unfortunately, this infection was so rooted at that point that I needed more powder. I found the best price at Bulksupplements! It arrived in the package shown in the picture which is so much easier to use than the little bottle of the previous brand. My only complaint is that the "zipper" on this specific package is slightly deformed and is difficult to close sometimes but it's not a big deal if you keep that fact in mind. I used 1 to 1.5 teaspoons in a glass of water every few hours in the beginning. The taste was slightly better than the other brand, but not too much different. I would describe it as a hint of sweetness in the water. The more powder to water ratio that I used, the worse the taste got for me, but I am very sensitive to tastes in my water so it may not be a problem for others. Bulksupplements brand D-Mannose seemed to work even faster than the previous brand and in no time at all, the UTI was gone. I was really hoping to not take another trip to the doctor to get some horrible antibiotics and I'm glad to say that I don't have to. I may even start to use this as a preventative as well as a cure. Overall, I would say that Bulksupplements Pure D-Mannose Powder is the best that you will find. The price is great and it works very well. Even if you were struggling with some other brand D-Mannose, I would try this one before you give up. I highly recommend it.

I have a spinal cord injury that leaves me very susceptible to UTI's. They are predominately e.coli related and come on fast and furious, by the time I detect them it's too late and I have to go get cultured and antibiotics. I dabbled with last minute home remedies: vitamin C megadoses, teas, roots, handful of D-mannose capsules etc, but it's always too little, too late. Last Saturday, I suspected I was getting one and took a few big doses of oregano oil before bed. By morning, I had all the symptoms but not as severely as usual. I have a prescription of oxbutynin, an anti-bladder spasticity medication which keeps the urgency at bay, and committed to spend Sunday trying to fight it off. I decided to go "all in" on D-mannose, relying on widespread anecdotal personal testimonies on the internet. As I understand, it's only effective against e.coli bacteria and safe at high dosages in limited timeframes. By now, I have paired the visual contents of urine with confirmed lab results, I can spot an e.coli infection. I ordered a bag of D-M from Bulk Supplements to arrive Monday and started on a 2g every 2hour regiment of some NOW capsules I had. I was at 102* temp, chills, exhaustion level and seriously considering tapping out like usual. Monday morning, the D-M arrived and I gave myself one more day's effort. [NOW brand D-M is almost powdered sugar in consistancy and sweet, this stuff is granulated and dissolves better in water.] I drank a spoonful with 6 oz water every 2 hours along with 5-6 drops of pure oregano oil as antibacterial booster. On the in-between hour, I drank plenty of water, green tea, cranberry, aloe etc to flush. Eliminated all forms of sugar, kept with soups and moderated my fever with tylenol. Kept it by my bedside and continued on whenever I woke up at night. By Wednesday, I was starting to note a difference. I had low grade 99* temp but feeling better all around. Still had an infection, but could tell it was being kept at bay. By the following Sunday, I was saturated with D-M and went through the entire bag of it. I continued the liquid, anti-sugar regimen, upped my Vit-C, but I have to credit D-M as the first thing that has ever resolved a UTI besides antibiotics. I'm symptom free. I'm ordering another bag and will be adding it to my daily maintenance routine.

This stuff WORKS!!!! If you struggle with UTIs, just get it. I take it every morning in cranberry juice, and I have not had a UTI in forever.

Great product. Tastes like nothing. Bought to stave off UTIs, because nothing else in the damn medicine cabinet was working. Dissolve a teaspoon ish into my water each morning, I don't even notice it's there. Haven't had once since, but it's hard to tell if that's bc of the mannose or because of the number of other things I have been doing to stop those stupid infections.

D-Mannose heals UTI problems. Put 3/4 teaspoon in water and drink it two days in a row. Works wonders for me and no need for RXs
