Bottom line
This Roman chair is okay for budget home use but, feels unsteady for my size. The loose cushions don’t inspire confidence. I am 5.6 feet and 145lbs.If you're looking for rock-solid stability, I'd recommend exploring sturdier, better-reviewed benches instead - especially those praised for solid frames and secure supports. For now? Not the best buy for me.

Functional extension for the lowest price ...
Easy assembly for the cheapest extension you can get. The only negative is the basic design. The foot pads are too wide for the calf roller pads or the calf roller pads are too narrow for the foot pads. Regardless, if your feet are on center, your calves will be on the very edge of the roller pads that are supposed to hold the back of your legs unless you are extremely knock-kneed.This is not a deal breaker and there are various "works arounds". Delivered quickly and it was complete (no missing parts). I would recommend as the cheapest, decent extension bench on Amazon. I'm using this for rehab for a lumbar disk injury and it meets expectations for the price.

Good product
This is a good product. I have it right in my master bedroom. It’s a reasonable price. I am 5 foot seven tall, And I use it on the shortest setting. I’m glad I’m not shorter because it wouldn’t fit me otherwise Good product for the money. Reasonable assembly

You get what you pay for
Crooked and wobbly. I don't trust it. Not worth the hassle of returning, so I'll just stare at it in shame for a while, and then send it to the land fill.

Perfect for a home gym
This Roman chair is perfect for my home gym. It’s sturdy and has plenty of height adjustment. Ignore the review that says they couldn’t tighten the bolts all the way. They have nylon lock nuts and clearly that individual doesn’t understand how those work. I used a small impact and they tightened up all the way and the unit is solid. It’s not commercial gym quality or anything, but it more than adequate for a home gym and facilitates great lower back work.
