This is extremely thorough, giving detailed explanations about how anatomy functions in relation to dance, injury prevention and exercises to strengthen areas for specific dance technique....an excellent guide to training for strength, movement and flexibility. I love this book.

I love everything about this book and also its predecessor, the 1st edition. A refreshingly simple, yet accurate introduction to anatomy and range of movement. In addition, specific information to help dancers really understand the specifics of their particular needs. Every dance department or school would benefit from sharing this book with their students. I also think it's an outstanding anatomy test for Yoga Teachers too; there is a sophistication in the dance sciences that lends itself well to the art of Yoga postures and flows.

This is a great book useful for all those dancers, teachers, yogini and therapists that need a deeper knowledge of biomechanical movement in dance

Lots of good information..easy to follow and good pictures and drawing, I can use it when coaching badminton!
