The cabinet door restraints work great to prevent our cabinet doors from 'banging into' other cabinet doors, appliances, and/or walls. The product is well designed, easy to install, and works effortlessly. The installation instructions are available online. The instructions were visually clear, and easy to accomplish. We highly recommend this as a cost efficient and practical solution for your needs.

Good quality. Needed something to protect my art work from the cabinet door knobs. Glad I found this solution to stop the door short from 90 degrees. Make sure to use the flat side of the rings against the door and make sure to not screw it in tightly. Works perfectly.

This is just a brilliant idea!! They work extremely well and were super easy to install. The weird thing is most people don't know something like this even exists. I was aware door opening restrictors existed -- but they are usually a more complex design and much more expensive. This is just a super elegant solution to a very common problem how to I restrict a cabinet door so it doesn't bang into the wall or bang into the other drawer in a corner when I open it. I have six cabinet doors where I have this problem. Problem is now solved. I also installed them in my mom's house, only two doors in her house had this problem. She thought the idea was super clever, and never knew something like this existed. The Quality of this product is exceptional! Would highly recommend these to anyone.

Overall, these are excellent. Easy to install, strong, and inexpensive. One "pro" tip. The instructions read to put a piece of tape on your drill bit to prevent going too deep and piercing through the cabinet. This isn't foolproof and the tape will work back as you use it. They do make collars for drill bits but they are prone to loosening, if you go to the full depth the collar will scratch the cabinet leaving a mark, and they also sometimes loosen and move unexpectedly. The easiest thing to do is buy an inexpensive 1/8" drill bit and break it in half with two pliers (they are brittle and break easily). You then have a short drill bit you can sink into the chuck only leaving the exact amount of bit depth showing you need to drill. No chance of the bit punching through.

Like the description states, this option takes out much of the guess work, and provides you with more options than the 86° hidden hinge restrictors, and it should work for virtually every situation. Well constructed, from high quality stainless steel materials, right here in the USA, with a lifetime warranty. I just wish the mounting screws were also stainless steel. Be sure to look over the instructions carefully, and pay special attention to the angle you plan to install the cable. You may need to adjust the placement on the back of the door (to more than 7 inches from the hinge) in order to maintain a more acute angle, as illustrated in the manual. I was also able to position mine a little lower than the suggested 1 inch from the top, so it lands inside the cabinet opening. Your situation may vary. Measure first, then drill!!!

It's refreshing to come across a product that advertises "American Made & American Quality" and then find that it really is! I know, this is just little product. But it serves an important purpose if you don't want your cabinet door banging against a wall, straining the hinge, or in my case, slamming into an adjacent bathroom mirror! It's extremely well made. It does what it says it does. It's stainless steel and clearly manufactured with excellent quality control. It is a set of two restraints, well packaged and includes a set of easy to understand instructions. They even give you an extra screw incase you loose or strip one! Well thought out. Well executed. And is exactly as represented. How often do you see that?!?

I always hated that we had corner cabinet doors that slammed against another door because their was no way to restrict them. After taking a look at the many different plastic ones, I decided to try these which are all metal, made in America, and reasonably priced. It took me 8 minutes to install the first one on one cabinet door. Once I knew how easy it was, it took only 3 minutes each on the next four doors. The directions were excellent and the finished product did exactly what I wanted. The braided stainless steel cord is small, but very strong. I love quality products and will be ordering 5 more for the rest of my corner cabinet doors. You can’t go wrong.

I'm so glad I didn't try to mess with one of the hinge type of door restraints. They looked difficult to install and there were many complaints that they didn't work whereas this type of restraint was very easy to attach and works perfectly. I appreciate the extra screw provided in case it was needed. The instruction sheet was clear but it contained a link and a suggestion to watch a video which I did. There was a good tip regarding how tight to screw in one of the screws. One needs to be loose and the other one needs to be tight so I recommend watching the video. Very happy to have my cabinet door banging into the wall problem solved so easily!
