I am using this as a replacement for the Monoprice Maker Ultimate 3d printer's ribbon cable. It plugged straight in. It is a bit shorter than I'd like, but that's what I ordered and not on the product in any way. I only mention this for other MMU users :-).

Not really much more to say on this, but the cable is well made. I purchased so I could gain access to an internal VGA header, so I cut the cable in half and added a VGA header on one end without any issues or difficulties for my modded needs.
