Better then expected. Love it.
Wasn't sure what to expect but this tent killed it. Me and My girlfriend went camping in December rained 4 days straight. No leaks held up great stayed dry and super warm with a tent stove. Really impressed. Light weight super easy set up and take down. Got reflectors on the guylines very night at night you see them stakes are easy to spot. I love this tent. It's perfect for two with a stove. Maybe three with minimal gear or store gear out the tent 3 comfortable. Great choice for a first time buy without breaking the bank.

This is not a 3 person tent if wood stove is inside.
This tent is 2 people tent tbh. Due to the teepee shape of the tent a lot of space is lost on the sides. I had a stove, a stretcher and my backpack in there and it is tight and limited movement space inside while cooking on the stove inside the tent. Center pole in the middle of the tent doesn't help while trying to move inside but it is expected due to the shape of the tent so no surprises there. One surprise is how thin thepole is.A gust of a strong wind and that thing will break so replacing the pole is my 1st priority for making this tent a safer tent to sleep in. Had it in a light rain and it held up well. I still need to test it in heavy rain and use it a few times to be able to say it is fully waterproof. I do like the tent and for my fishing/camping trips it is just fine . Double entry is a plus as well. It packs fairly small and it is very light. I give it 3 stars due to false advertising as a 3 person tent.

T2 Weight = 8 lbs. / 3.64 kg
Review of the Preself T2 large tipi hot tent by me, a backcountry hunter, in July 2025: This is a good value compared to high-end/top-shelf hot tents. One thing to note is that the overall system, including the tent, stakes, center pole, and bag, but not a bug net/nest or footprint, weighs 8 pounds (3.64 kg). The center pole alone is 1.6 pounds and could be replaced with a carbon fiber pole. Regarding the seams: they do not need additional sealing (yet); the tent is essentially "waterproof" - I tested with a hose and wind/rain. The stove jack is pre-cut but may be widened with a knife. The stove jack material is, in fact, fireproof. The sewing is fine, but the stitching could be tighter; there are no comments on the thread material. The stakeout points are good. The stake guide (a circular diagram with a pre-cut radius strap) is smart and handy, making setup fast, ~10 minutes. The extra storm tie-outs / guy wires are good. The stakes are good quality, aluminum. There is adequate room for three people with the stove, four without. We put two full-size cots side-by-side on one side of the tent pole with the stove on the other. Two roof vents are fine. Two doors are large, zippers good YKK. Snow skirt good. I am 6' tall man and can comfortably stand up in the middle and change clothes. It is possible to run a clothesline inside for wet clothes to dry in hot air above stove.

Great tent, but….
Just used this tent for the first time last week, and I was pretty impressed with the build quality and loved that there is a template for laying out your pegs prior to raising the tent. From there you just hook up the pegs and raise the centre pole, tie off the guy lines and it’s good to go. Pegs are great quality as well and the guy lines have elastics to secure them when packing it away. The one issue I had was that the stove jack was pre cut to fit a 3” stove pipe. I have a small stove with 2” pipe, and I was expecting a stove jack that you cut to size.
