Let’s just call it like it is—you didn’t buy this mesh to filter water or keep bugs out of your garden. You bought this to sift kief, and you want it clean, food-safe, and built like a stainless-steel fortress. Well, this 304 wire mesh? Nailed it. The 120 mesh count is the sweet spot—lets all the good stuff fall through while keeping stems, grind junk, and fluff where it belongs. I've used it to build a custom triple-layer sifting box, and it worked like a dream. Smooth texture, no fraying at the edges, and not a single flake of metal after trimming. And because it’s true 304 stainless, you’re not dealing with rust, weird discoloration, or that “cheap tin smell” that screams regret. This stuff is surgical-grade solid. I even torched a test piece to check—zero reaction. That’s how you know. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this screen because I needed a very fine mesh to keep even the smallest bugs out. Functionality: I’m using this for a few projects. I’m placing it over the intake side on my air conditioner and all window fans. I’m also using to cover the exhaust side of my attic ridge vent. I’m going to attach it to 1” wood strips on both of the long edges, embed some neodymium magnets, and hang it. That way I can easily remove & clean it when necessary. And I’m going to use it to cover two rain barrels to keep mosquitoes out. Flexibility: It is very sturdy, it’s not flimsy. So don’t get it thinking you can easily mold it as you wish. It’ll probably be harder to use for projects smaller than 3” x 3”. If you crease it, the crease is permanent. Ease of cutting: It cuts easily with scissors and snips. Size: The size is ok but I wish there were more options both in width and length, but especially length. **Note — for the last pic, I put the screen right up against the phone camera in an attempt to demonstrate the fineness of the mesh. It allows air & water to flow freely but is fine enough to keep out any insects that I’d be concerned about.

This is exactly what I expected when I ordered it. It is a very, very fine mesh. You do have to be careful in the handling because it is strong and can cut your fingers if you are not careful. I glue it into my planters to cover the drainage holes. It does allow a slow pass through of water but retains sand and dirt. Very effect in performing the task that I wanted it for. I have not seen any rust so far in my tests after about 30 days. It will not allow a fast pass through of the water, but that should be expected with this fine of a mesh.

The screen was fine, worked for the intended purpose. It was rolled up and tied into a knot, though, which left a crease in the entire piece.

The scrolled mesh with a golden zip tie like something ancient style was a nice touch lol. Use: Made a tray to filter junk debris before the Polyfiber pad of a Charcoal filter so I can wash all that out instead of having it sit on the polyfiber rotting between use. Popped off tray I made and nothing of the food debris I tested made it to the fiber cloth aka no OCD trigger to replace fiber filter under it.

Bought this for straining during canning process. It is quality stainless steel and washes without corrosion. Fine enough for juices and thin sauces with good flow. Bent into shape of a funnel and held with rubber band and opened flat to cover pot when strainer wasn’t big enough.

The item I received was as per listed specifications, and the quality is also excellent. I only wish the supplier had either supplied it after sealing its dangerously sharp edges or at least suggested how the customer could do that.
