Walker'sRazor X-TRM Electronic Muff

They work good. Good amplification of noise around you and mutes gun shots very well. The Bluetooth works good. I would suggest these to anyone. Yes you can get better ones but for the price they work very well. They work for mowing and any other loud environments. I will be buying a few for my shop guys at work.

The product itself is great. My shooting instructor also had a pair. The gel cups are quite comfortable, and a good seal is paramount to proper hearing protection. The noise isolation worked reliably for every shot, but would also kick in for smaller noise spikes like the racking of a slide or even sometimes a gust of wind, but that's not a problem in my opinion. Stereo hearing is a must have, as opposed to only one microphone on the whole headset. I had no problem hearing my instructor and my environment which is also very important, and the volume can adjusted from subtle to quite loud (for if you double-up with ear plugs).All said, the first few pictures of this listing are for a different product: a SKU with quad-microphones. This product only has DUAL microphones. I don't know what the difference would be, but be aware that as the quad-mic skew is more expensive. Despite this hiccup, I agree with my instructor in that these are a great value, performing as well as a $200+ pair (according to him)

These Walker ear protection muffs are the best I've ever had! They block loud noises such as gun shots, overhead jet engines and too-loud concert venues. The volume control allows you to easily hear normal conversations. And with the low profile, I can actually wear a hat over them!

I have invested a lot of time researching ear pro before purchasing this set. I wanted a slim fit in order to shoulder rifles along with gel ear cups for extended comfort and the cooling head band was a nice addition as well.I presently use the Howard Light impact sports that are rated at around NRR 22. They work great and are adequate for shooting my 308. After about a hour the HL starts to get uncomfortable. So I started looking for a more comfortable and higher NRR ear pro. I found these walkers razor XTRM. After more research I found them to have two different ratings of NRR 21 and NRR 23 through various sites. I thought they may have improved the rating on a newer version and decided they were what I was looking for.These seemed to be about the best under 100$ set and checked all the boxes. Well I got them in today-great delivery time (prime) and wouldn’t you know they are NRR 21. For those that don’t know each decibel increase is substantial. I will be returning these.My only problem is i can’t seem to find any reason/info why the regular razors are NRR 23 and this upgraded version is NRR 21. I would think the gel ear pads would increase the reduction through denser material and by increasing the seal especially with eye pro.
