This is a great cutting board. Not cheap; but large, very practical and won't mold like wood will, doesn't need conditioning like wood does, and is dishwasher safe (which wood isn't).I saw a TV chef using one of these and really wanted to replace my large molding wood block with it.Unfortunately, I tried *twice* to order it from amazon and inexplicably (and very un-amazon-like) they're just tossing it loose in a cardboard box with no padding or those inflatable things they normally use. As a result, the corners on this (it's big and heavy, and the UPS guys undoubtedly just toss it into the truck) were broken off on both. So, both back went. Amazon handled the return as well as you can handle it--but I really wanted the item safe and unbroken. I don't see any reason that if I ordered 10 of these all 10 wouldn't be broken if this is how they're shipping them.Maybe I'll monitor the item and see if others say they changed the shipping method.

I was so excited to open this Xmas morning. I have the older version that I’ve owned for 10+ years. It’s an awesome cutting board/block. I wanted one for our 2nd home. Unfortunately, it’s damaged on 3 of the 4 corners. I’ve reordered it, so I hope it’s packaged properly so as to arrive undamaged 🤞🏻

Been using Epicurian cutting boards, pizza peels and some of the utensils for 15 years or so. Dishwasher doesn’t faze them, light weight compared to wood, more sanitary and not plastic. Not quite as nice to good knives as wood probably but the trade off in ease of use, lack of maintenance and looks is worth it for me. I got the big laminated one recently because it looks great on the granite counters.

Very nice cutting board I like it a lot

based on the earlier comment about packaging I was a bit worried. But for the price I was willing to try. Amazon sells this for half of anyone else.Anyway, my board arrived double boxed so I didn't have the packaging issues with this item. Perhaps they fixed how they ship it.Anyway, this is a big substantial cutting board and we are happy to have it on our counter 24 x 7. It gets used every day.

This is a great idea and I love Epicurean cutting boards, but this thing is susceptible to the same problem as all Epicurean cutting boards: it warps. You'd think something this big and heavy wouldn't wrap, but if it gets wet on the underside for a few hours the top sides will curl up and you have a rocking cutting board. You can "reverse-warp" it but this is an annoying and time-consuming process. Plus, it's not fun to do this with a two-foot long, 20 pound cutting board.Stick with Epicurean's thinner models and save yourself some heartache.

Awesome having Sharp knives that last. Looks awesome on the counter.
