LEGO DC Batman Batmobile: The Penguin Chase 76181 Car Toy, Gift Idea for Kids, Boys and Girls 8 Plus Years Old with Batman Minifigure and The Penguin Minifigure, Super Heroes Set

At first I was hesitant to make this purchase, because I've noticed in this modern era, a lot of Lego is well overpriced for what you are legitimately given. But if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! However, I can say with confidence that this set gives you well what you pay for and more! And on sale right now? An awesome bargain. You get 2 Minifigures, highly detailed and personally I love The Penguin minifigure, it looks exactly like Colin Ferrell from his performance on the movie. Of course, it wouldn't be a The Batman set without The Batman! You get Robert Pattinson 's version in all of it's glory, though the helmet is the older style, so don't expect there to be a new mold. I personally think it looks great! The Batmobile build itself is 5 studs wide inside, so it can fit two minifigs, which I love. The inside detail is awesome as well and a genuinely enjoyable build and refreshing due to the fact that it's different than I expected it to be, in a good way! No spoilers, though. It comes with blue flames that are easily removable from the car (duh, it's Lego) so you can make it look like it's in park. You're also given some extra blue flames pieces if you want to interchange. It also features an awesome, huge engine at the back with some cool printed pieces that you're given more than one of! I appreciate that you're also given a Bruce Wayne head and hair piece, so you can interchange when you don't want Batman to wear his cowl. I originally purchased this because I wanted to add on to my Batcave riddler face-off set that pairs with this set. It fits with it so well and I'm very happy because I thought I would be buying this only for the look of it in the batcave. But it's got great functionality, it's bigger than it looks, and it feels like a Batmobile. Definitely one of my favorite Lego cars that we've gotten in a long time. And it's Batman, who doesn't love that!? In conclusion, I definitely recommend purchasing this while it's on sale because you get more value for lower buck. Enjoy driving around the streets of a gritty, dark Lego Gotham with it because I certainly am!

My son was pleased with this gift. However, a wheel was missing, so the project was incomplete.

I like how the Lego box came in with no damage. I also like how the minifigures look and how the Batmobile makes a great display piece. The vehicle is very durable with minor weak points that easily come off like the afterburner but overall a great set. The length of the Batmobile (including the blue fire piece) is about 25 cm long and about 9 cm wide.

My fiance absolutely LOVED this! It didn’t take us more than an hour to build and was so fun. He loves the detail of how there are different flame pieces you can put in it.
