Genuine Replacement Ear Pads Cushions for SENNHEISER HD650, HD600, HD580, HD660 S, HD565, HD545 Headphones

I have owned my HD600's for about 39 months and they get an enormous amount of use. This is the second pair of these wonderful headphones I have owned, the first pair being shortly after they were first introduced to the market back in the 90's. Back then I was working a second shift job and at some point while I was away my autistic son who was just a toddler got his meat hooks on them and for whatever reason he placed them inside the dishwasher. Of course my wife had no idea and they got a bath. End of those! So years later I decided to give the 600's another listen and I typically listen to them 4-5 hours daily. Recently the pads got a cleaning of sorts just using my fingers and a slightly damp cloth, but I noticed that the pads were beginning to deteriorate just a little bit and I wanted to replace them. They were still serviceable but in all honesty they were getting a bit flat. A bit smashed. I saw a number of options for replacement and I read the reviews which mentioned how other products changed the sound signature or were hot or not deep enough so I decided to go the OEM route and I would suggest you do the same. Replacing the cups is really straight forward; just gently grab the top/bottom and sides and tug gently. Remove the cup and inner foam and the replacements drop right in. Give a gentle push and they will clip on and remain firmly in place until you need to remove them again. So here's my opinion. They feel like brand new headphones minus the new headphone clamping. I didn't get a sense of renewed clamping at all. My ears sit inside as they had before, the pads are just comfortable as can be and they look like brand new once again. Same sound.signature They may seem to be a bit pricey but they are absolutely worth the money if you love your Sennheiser cans. Highly recommended.

First time replacing these cuffs since I’ve purchased the Seinheiser HD600 way back in 2018. First off - YES. They’re a bit expensive for just these two squishy ear pillows, BUT.. they’re “THE” squishy ear pillows. Although I can’t really make the comparison to other generic brands, I didn’t want to take the risk. And as you can see from the photos.. they were way overdue for a replacement. So how do these sound/ feel?? Welp, the sound delivers a noticeably smooth difference. More crisp, clear, and just the right amount of bass, balanced with a clean resonance that pair ever so perfectly with the original model. It’s almost like an entirely new set. How do these feel?? VERY comfortable and pillowy. One reason I’ve worn these headphones for over the last several years is because of the way they fit my noggin for hours without any bit of discomfort. I’ve long forgotten just how nice the HD600 felt after wearing out the old pair. Overall, these stock replacements are top choice for the complete experience they’re made to deliver. If you have the extra funds to spare, I think they’re totally worth the investment! As a fellow musician and a graphic artist who listens to music all day and night, this was a MUCH needed upgrade to keep rocking my ears for many years to come. Hope this helps :)

I love my Sennheiser HD 600s for working late at night or double checking mixes I do with my monitors. Unfortunately the velour pads get kind of compressed and funky after awhile. I sweat a lot so after awhile my pads got kind of gross. I'd looked into getting leather pads or something else that wouldn't absorb so much perspiration, but all my research indicated that using any materials other than what were stock would radically change the sound profile. I decided to go with the authentic pad replacements. Installing them was as easy as pulling the old pads out, and then just clicking the new ones into place making sure that everything was latched all the way around each can. The first thing I realized was that I'd gotten used to the speakers being MUCH closer to my ears than they should have been over the years since the old pads had gotten compressed. The second thing I noticed was how much the sound quality was restored. I was worried that perhaps after years of heavy use, they started to "burn in" and change in a not so good way, but it turns out that the problem was 100% my old disgusting ear pads. Now that I have fresh authentic pads in place, the sound is as clear and detailed as I remember them being. Now I need to make sure to schedule a replacement regularly to avoid this happening again in the future. The authentic pad replacements are a little more costly than some of the 3rd party options out there, but if you bought a pair of headphones compatible with these pads, I'm assuming sound quality is important to you. Spend a little more to get the real deal and you'll be glad you did.

They are made in Ireland, and yes you need them. Fake ones just don't quite have the same hold. You can immediately notice the difference changing out old pads. They probably last me two years or so with a lot of use. Older pads have a very very different feel. Mine were mush compared to these. You do have to work them in for a couple weeks to get the perfect fit, but they definitely have a lot more height and resistance that is immediately noticeable. A huge improvement over their prior pads, which were terrible and in use before 2020 or so. Now the pricing is nuts, no doubt about it. But I guess they don't have a Chinese factory for these, so it is what it is. Absolutely necessary for your headphones. HD600s still running strong as daily drivers. njnjkl;'

Ich habe mir diese Velour-Ohrpolster als Ersatz für die Original-Lederpolster an meinem Sennheiser HD 265 Linear gekauft. Obwohl dieser Typ bei der Produktbeschreibung der Ersatzpolster nicht auftaucht, kann man sich auch an dem Code 050635 orientieren, der von Sennheiser verwendet wird. Die Ohrpolster lassen sich gut und mit angemessenem Druck in die Ohrmuscheln einklicken und halten wie die ursprünglich verbauten. Die Polster sind gut gefüttert und wirken nicht dünn oder ausgemergelt, wie es manche Rezessionen bei Ersatzpolstern beschreiben, die nicht von Sennheiser selbst stammen. Das der Kopfhörer jetzt statt Lederpolster Velour hat, stört mich nicht im geringsten, im Gegenteil das Gefühl am Kopf ist flauschiger und das Velour nimmt Schweiß deutlich besser auf, als Leder. Der Preis der Ersatzpolster ist im Vergleich zum Kopfhörer selbst zugegeben recht hoch, aber wenn die Velour-Polster genauso lange halten wie die Originalen, steht der Preis in guter Relation dazu, dass man seinen tollen, gut eingespielten Kopfhörer noch mehrere Jahre weiter verwenden kann.

These are just like the original earpads on our HD600 headphones which saw great use over 15+ years (until the foam disintegrated). Hopefully these will last longer than the original pads! As anyone who trusts their own ears (vs marketers) knows - these are great headphones and in my opinion, one of the best ways to get audiophile quality sound on a budget (versus paying thousands for similar quality sound in big box speakers)! The earpads were quite simple to replace. After you gently pull off and dispose of the old pads and ensure no old foam particles are left in the speakers, put the flat foam disk in place first and then gently press the earpad into the groove (over the flat foam disk) until it snaps into place. Then press gently all they way around the groove to ensure it is fully snapped into place. It's that simple! The earpads hold the flat foam in place. It would be great if Sennheiser would sell these for less money - but they do the job and are much cheaper than a new set of headphones if a new set isn't necessary.

Yes, they cost somewhat more, but they returned my headphones back to factory new condition. I've tried cheap pads, but the foam density is wrong, altering the sound. Simple to replace. Long lasting, durable. Sennheiser 650's rock, and are an audio investment and you'll be sorry if you replace parts with something that's not a factory replacement. If you need earpads, get these Sennheiser approved pads. You'll be glad you did!

I brought these for my son in law. He loves them and advised they are comfy.
