Great for backpacking
So this is decently good for camping. I brought it on at least 10 camping trips and it has been too much of a problem. I will say that the cups don’t necessarily fit snug on the metal. And if it’s windy, there’s definitely a chance of it falling over. You just have to set it right on top and the metal handles are just so small that it can’t hold anything that big. But I bought this specifically for backpacking so I needed some thing very tiny, and not very heavy for my backpack and this was perfect for that. So like I said, it holds the cup that it comes with decently OK but just make sure that it’s on a flat surface and it’s not against any strong wind, and you should be good! I would have purchased the same one even knowing what I know now. And this is just a plus but every time I bring it out everyone’s like oh my gosh this is so adorable because it really is it’s so tiny and it works great. The only thing that’s worn out after about 10 camping trips is the silverware they pop off a lot but then I just pop them right back on so it’s not a big Deal.

Great little stove.
I’ve had this for at least 7 years. I’ve used it on many campouts, including philmont (12 days). It’s not the most stable or the most efficient, but it is small, light, reliable and cheap. I love this thing Yeah you can get a different name brand one that boils water faster, but it’s heavier and costs 5x what this costs.

Excellent kit for the price
This is a fantastic little kit. The measurements are stamped and can be clearly read from inside and out. The burner is very compact, and works very well. It is lightweight, and compact. I have only 2 issues. One, the sleeve for the cup has an awful smell to it. It smells like melting rubber with hot glue on it. I threw that away almost immediately. And two, the silverware does not hold itself unfolded very well. I found myself having to be verycareful while stirring my freeze dried food so as not to have the spoon and fork keep folding itself while in use. Otherwise, very happy with the product and the price.

Everything but the kitchen sink!
Very cool portable kit! Small and compact, but big enough to get the job done. Great for camping or trail riding too! Complete kit, good quality at an affordable price! I would be happy to check out more of the sellers products, and will post a video of this product on my review channel. Seller, feel free to reach out, I'd be glad to review more products. After purchasing this one, I will be buying more as gifts!

Works great
I love this set! I purchased it for a backpacking trip to Cumberland Island, and it worked great. I did not take the cup with me and it does not store inside the pot. It has a large capacity for one person and is easy to clean.

Perfect for scout, not hiking entire AT
Absolutely perfect for the casual camping trip. My daughter uses this set constantly when camping with her Girl Scout Troop. She does favor using a "plastic spork" over the included utensils, but the rest of the kit is great.

Excellent value
Hurricane season is here, and since my wife and I are stuck in south Florida till the end of it. And since all our camping gear is in storage fifteen hundred miles away, I figured we might need a few things. Purchase one was this cook set. At one pound five point three ounces, it's fairly light, I'm not a fan of the all aluminum construction as that impacts durability, however I'm not likely to take this to the field, so it should never be an issue. The stove sent with the kit is nearly identicle to one i've had for seven years or so. It managed to take one liter of water from seventy two degrees to a roiling boil in five minutes and eighteen seconds at three quarters "throttle". One initial issue with the stove was the piezo igniter, it failed to light the stove at first, however, after lighting the stove by other means, and testing the boil time, the igniter has worked flawlessly. So if your stoves igniter won't work initially, there may be a coating on the wire that using the stove burns off. One thing to be aware of is the covering on the handles of the pots, I had assumed they were high temp silicon. They are not, it's just a rubber coating, so be careful as the handles get pretty hot. As far as value goes, this kit is fantastic, it lets you have most of what you need for a camping trip, or for an emergency, for cheap. get your fuel local, (I purchased a sixteen ounce canister locally for a quarter of what they go for here on Amazon) and if it's for emergency use, get yourself a dehydrated food supply, amazon has all kinds, most, like this, Augason Farms 5-20100 72-Hour 4-Person Emergency Food Storage Kit 14 lbs 7 oz , are good for fifteen years or more, just scale up or down to your needs.

I've tested this out twice at home. The pots: • I like that the 2 pots can nestle together as a pot and lid, and that the handles stay cool to the touch while on the stove, and that they fold down tight during transport. • The rivets seem to be welded in well with no leaks. • Good size, I like that the big pot can hold 800mL+ - which means when you're boiling water to rehydrate your meals (maybe multiple at once) you have enough space to without over boiling. I make my own camp meals, and tested it out in the big pot with 600mL of food, I like that it's big enough to eat out of, with room to spare. It's wide for easy cleaning. • The bottom of the pot where it touches the flame hasn't discoloured or warped - so far. - note that the material of the pot doesn't like too acidic foods, so if you constantly have things like tomato sauce in it, make sure to wash it out throughly when finished. • love that it's the right size to fit 13.1 oz/374g camp fuel almost perfectly (without the cup) - some wiggle room, but just put a cleaning cloth in it to keep it from rattling. The cup: • it has a heat-proof sleeve cup holder for hot liquids which I like - it's not very wide, so people with big hands will be holding it with their pinky's out. It'll be great for regular liquids. It has a curved top - comfortable to drink from - good construction. I personally will probably not use the mug on backpacking backcountry trips to keep weight down (and to give room for the fuel) but it's nice to have on regular campus trips when space if not an issue. I will use the "lid" as my hot liquid cup. I am happy that they've included this in this set. The stove: • great that it has its own ignition, Very handy. • construction is ok. the fold out "stand" is not even, I had to bent it a little to make sure the pot sits on it evenly and on all 4 "arm" – remember to unfold the top resting bit before you light it. it's heavier than my BRS ultralight stove, but the ignition is worth the little extra weight. • fuel is not included obviously, But the stand it comes with is good. clicks for secure stand and fits various sized canister of fuel. The cutlery: • good, works fine, innovative construction, kinda heavy for backpacking (68g with 10g pouch - will probably ditch the pouch for something light or just wrap with reusable cloth). I like that they saved some weight with their construction by making the handles "hallow" and folding. For future, would be nice to see them made with aluminum and nestling. The pouch: Carrying pouch is mesh and good light weight to carry everything I need. like I mentioned earlier, the cutlery back is a little heavy, but good to keep things clean. in context, I use my BRS ultra light stove and Snowpeak mug for the last 8 years and thought I'd try something all encompassing. Final word; I think this is great value! I would recommend this.
