Is this "Neutral" shoe polish clear or a light tan or ivory color?

It's clear, and gives the leather a shiny finish. It works great on my black and brown leather boots and shoes.

Can it be used on Microfabri?

I used my on leather. I would not risk using it microfabri

Is this a good replacement for those sponge shoe shiners that you have to throw away after a a couple of months?

I've had it for so over well over a year and it still works fine. It closes tight.
