Matched well
This matched my car well I was able to repair 2 paint chips and a clear coat scratch. I did make a mess on the concrete floor opening it. Be cautious opening.

Pretty Much a Match but not consistant
I know how to touch-up chips: scuff the area w/1500-2000 grit wet/dry & clean with alcohol to prep. Once dry Dab a small amount of WELL shaken t/u paint on the area. It usually takes a couple applications over 20-30 min periods to build up to surrounding paint height. Scuff again to blend to surrounding as needed; apply WELL shaken thin coat[s] of clear. I usually wait a couple days before wet sanding the surrounding area to blend before buffing out with med-low to low grit compound, polish, wax..etc until you get a perfectly blended mirror finish. MOST of the times you never know it was touched up. well...my '19 Ranger is a J7 paint code and I've already had to do this about half a dozen times. Half the time the paint dabs the lighter more silver color while the other half the time its a perfect match... I can figure this color out. I've got t/u's that you cant see if I point them out and others your can see from 10' away clear as day [too light]. I've used the brush as well as pin-point disposable applicators I bought here. Its tedious process and if it does not match you gotta accept it or keep shaking and trying until the many particulate colors that make up this J7 blend & apply perfectly. One spot finally passed my standards the 3rd time, pain in the A$$. Its a great color that I think is made up of about 5-6 colors... Keep telling myself its a daily-driver NOT a show vehicle and the main purpose is to insure it gets resealed to prevent early rust spots. I will figure this out and will keep trying new techniques until I come up with one that's 100% consistent.

Shake the bottle for a couple of minutes and it matched my color great.
Paint comes out to fast so I used a surfaced to dip the pen in and then applied.

Didn't match
The paint code was correct , but the touch up paint was quite a bit lighter than the vehicle's paint .

Good touch up paint
Used it on a couple of small scratches. I am not an expert at using the body paint but it did cover the scratches well. The color match was very good. If I had more skills my touch up would probably look even better.
