Read this before installing!!! Good part just needs to be installed correctly or it will break.
this piece worked perfectly for my 05 TJ. Lots of reviews say it broke, but if you understand how it is installed you will understand why. If you replace the part and close the door as normal, it will break. you must go thru a process to make the length of the part fit to your door and to do that you must close the door very slowly and as you close you will hear a series of pops and that is the plastic barrel sliding to a shorter length. Slowly continue this process until the door is all the way closed. There are no instructions that come with the part, so it will be a wise idea to youtube it if you still have questions. Besides "calibrating" it to fit your particular door, its pretty easy installation....just unplug and plug in the new one....I did have to file the little tabs down a little to get it to fit in the hole....but not too much...they need to keep it in place. Pretty easy. Would definitely buy again.

Fitted but as they are fragile install with care
They fitted although I snapped one inserting/installing it - forget the idea that you insert and then closoor to push to the right depth - thats how you break them - rather you connect to the wiring harness and instert leaving it sticking out a long way and then tap it in with a socket or other object over it with a rubber mallet gently but firmly taping to slowly ease it into the right depthFragile is not the issue of the manufacturer, but rather the design and install method

Waste of time and effort and money.
Don't waste your money. These are not worth one star. The cheap plastic pin is worthless. I bought two of them. I purchased two. Both of them broke during installation. I was careful very cheap.

OEM fit replacement - be careful installing!
Be careful installing it. You have to adjust the length at install.Replace the original in the door jamb (I used a deep-well socket and a rubber hammer to press-fit it in) and THEN SLOWLY close the door.It will press the stalk LENGTH into the correct depth. If you slam the door, it will break the stem off - buy another & try again. The hardest part was getting the original out and the new one into the door jamb. Adjustment was easy.

Works good
Works good. Install is tricky. I used a socket to tap it in place in the factory hole. My hole was tight so I filed it quickly. Then SLOWLY close the door you’ll hear some popping sounds. Open it. Them do it again. Each time pulling the door tighter. Then it closed completely. Don’t slap it shut. It will break.

Broken junk
Would give zero stars if I could. This is the first time I ha e ever got a bad part from Omix/Crown. Was in pieces in the packaging. The electrical pins should NEVER just fall out. What do we expect when Indian and Chineese kids are making this stuff.

Don't believe the haters. Worked perfectly.
So, whoever had the clutch advice about using a socket and a rubber mallet, you are a genius. I held this in place with my fingers and guided it onto the door correctly, slowly closed the door through all the "popping" sounds until the door was shut. Then I used the socket/mallet to push it completely into the frame. I put fuse #4 back in and now I have entry/exit lights on the 2001 TJ again along with the lights-on warning beep. Solid. As a side note, I bought 2 of the door defeat spring clips for use when the doors are off.
